Recently a friend recommended Kadence themes and I really liked the look of them and got a membership. However, I am having a little difficulty getting started. I have used Elementor in the past and really like it. When I try to edit the home page with Elementor I get ‘Sorry the content area was not found in your page’

I looked online for solutions and came across a fix which suggests adding ‘thecontent();’ to the homepage source code. I added it in the line suggested but it made only a section of the top part of the homepage look like it was editable, but wasn’t actually. Nor could I edit any of the rest of the page.

I have searched through these forums on Kadence too and could not find this. Can you please help?
