Space Above Blog Summaries

Hi,

I created a page that will show blog excerpts, but for some reason there is a large amount of space before the first entry. I think it may be because I added the following code to my CSS:

@media (min-width: 1200px) {
.container .entry-content, .contentclass {
min-height: 500px;
}
}

I added this because I didn’t want pages with little content to be so short. Is it possible to keep the length of the pages without having the extra space above the blog entries?
