Hi people. I’m currently having an issue where all the spacer/dividers on my website are ignoring my custom settings and are displaying as default (semi-transparent, 1 px thickness, full page width). This problem seems to have started at some point since the start of the new year (I regret turning on auto-updates, lol) as the dividers were working fine before then. Curiously, both the block editor and preview page function show the correct formatting (#FFFFFF, 4 px thickness, 55% pagewidth) but that does not seem to translate to the live page. The same problem occurs with any new spacer/divider blocks I add to the page, and I tried copy and pasting the relevant HTML from a previous version but that appears to bork the block and set it into recovery mode. I have also tried deactivating my other plugins and that didn’t appear to fix the problem either.
Note, I have also tried changing the default settings for all spacer/divider blocks found in the Kadence Block Controls tab, but that still has no effect on how they appear. Lastly, I don’t know if this has any relevance but, every time I open the page to edit, the ‘update’ button is active before I make any changes (maybe the display settings are trying and failing to stick to the blocks, I don’t know).
My Website Url:
http://www.challengerschase.com (there are 2 headers above and below the title header)
HTML of block:
“<div class=”wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-_980f87-8f”><div class=”kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center”><hr class=”kt-divider”/></div></div>”
My Plugins:
EditorPlus
Getwid
Imagify
Kadence Blocks
MC4WP
Really Simple SSL
Updraft Plus
WP-Optimize
I honestly only have experience with the block editor, so when it comes to any HTML stuff, make sure to give me directions with a lot of hand-holding. But if it would simply be easier to band-aid fix this issue with a bit of manual HTML, I’m perfectly willing to do that.
Thanks ahead of time for any help.
