Speed issue from day to day (use Imagify & Wp-rocket)

Hi,
During the day today I created a new page on our site, used pagebuilder and added 8 images, otherwise the site is the same as yesterday. Now when I test the site speed on pingdom the site speed is a full 10 sek, this morning it was to 2,1 sek. Any thoughts on how on earth this can occur?
I have read your speed documentation and I use wp-rocket and Imagify for image optimization. I have cleard the chache.
Any insight are most appreciated.
