Style 2 header is not symettrical with 2 menu items on each side

Hiya again
I am designing a site with 3 menu items either side (ie primary and secondary menus) of the store name/description and it aligns just fine.
They’ve asked me to hold off on this site for a while while they get the product descriptions and photography sorted. But they requested an identical site to go live minus the woocommerce and blog, and with just four pages, for the meantime.
So I did a clone in a separate directory and just lessened the number of menu items on each side from 3 to 2 in the theme settings. And now the two menu items on the right are closer to the middle than the two on the left. I couldn’t find anything on a quick search of the forum, so I’m not sure whether this an unreported bug or I’ve done something really stupid in the initial design!
Any clues what is going on? The site is necessarily up (but wonky) at *Login to see link
