Styling multiple select or adding a placeholder

Hello,

I’m trying to add a <select multiple> to my site, but it gets styled automatically.

I would like to have a “normal” multiple select to give my users a first idea of what the options are…

But I don’t understand how to remove your CSS classes, it looks like they’re added afterwards with some javascript or something.

A compromise could be a placeholder, instead of just an empty box… but I have no idea on how to place it 🙁

I tried setting one of the options “selected” in the html, but still the box remains empty… I have to click on it to see which option is selected…

It’s a weird behavior actually, I don’t know why your style does this…

Can you help me?

Thanks,

Lucia
