Testimonials button missing from dashboard

Hello,
I had several testimonials entered, sorted into groups and selected groups running in carousels on appropriate pages…suddenly,the Testimonial button and sub menu have disappeared from the Dashboard. Testimonials are still running in the sliders – and the groups have vanished from the selector in the carousel widget on the pages. So the testimonials are running randomly. How can I restore the button in the dashboard? I have deselected Virtue theme and selected the WP 2016 theme and re-installed Virtue Premium – but to no avail. Help!
