Text font color for Kadence Pro Slider

This is the first time I’m creating a slideshow that includes text layers on the images. No trouble creating a font for my images but, unless I’m missing something, it looks like I’m limited to one font color for all images? Whatever font color I choose for the first image seems to become the default for all remaining images with no option for me to override. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way around this?
The page is HERE and you’ll need to navigate through the slides manually. I guess that’s another question. Is there a way to make the navigation arrows always visible even before hovering over the photo for this particular slideshow?
