I’m running virtue theme pro and trying to use the plugin I just paid for as well design system approval. I have completed multiple hours of troubleshooting with the plugin support and developer to find out that once I switched off the virtue theme the plugin now works. Could you please assist in fixing the issue where the theme doesn’t allow for styles and scripts to run on the page that is associated with the plugin. I have shut down all plugins on my page except the design system plugin and then switched to both twenty fourteen and twenty fifteen themes and the page works great from the plugin that I’m trying to use. There is something that is killing the scripts and the styling for the design page from the theme is there some option I can shut off or another way to overwrite it?

Yes leave both das plugins active, go and save the permalinks page and check the design page again. If it is a theme related issue and you paid for the theme, I would ask the theme developer…. Why is the theme is preventing the Design Approval System plugin from loading scripts in the header on our custom post type page ‘designs’.

I’ve seen a lot of issues over the years, but this is a first where the theme is preventing our styles and scripts from loading on the designs pages… I would venture to say the theme has either a coding error or some overrides set in place for custom post types.
