Turn off comments completely

Hi Ben,
I’m embarrassed to ask this because I feel like the answer is obvious but I just can’t seem to find it. 😐 How do I completely turn off comments for a blog post so there is no option to “leave a reply” I can’t seem to find it in blog options and I also changed the settings so that comments are closed for articles older than 0 days but it still keeps showing me an option to “leave a reply” .
