Two sites on same domain

Hello,
I am interested in splitting my domain into two different sites both using virtue theme.
For example if it was currently mysite.com I would want two new sites: mysite.com/site1 (the original one) and mysite.com/site2 (a new site with all new content but also using virtue)
Actually, it is much like what you are doing for the demo *Login to see link how style 2 3 4 are different sites.
Can you give a few tips for getting started converting my site in this way? I don’t expect a full tutorial as I’m not sure this is the right forum to ask, but any pointers would be helpful! Thank you!
