Unable to get single column of blog post on home page!

Ive tried [blog_posts items=”4″ cat=”photos”] and nothing happens!
I am unable to get a single column of blog post on my page, help will me appreciated.
here is my website, as you can see I can only manage to get it 2 columns. This is the website *Login to see link
the code for two columns is [blog_posts items=”50″ orderby=”date”].
