Upgrade to Premium Theme

I just purchased the premium version of the Virtue theme and I would like to know how to complete the upgrade from the free version I am currently running. Will I lose all my formatting and/or custom CSS etc. when I upgrade?
Can you please point me to the instructions on how to backup my current site and how to proceed with the upgrade to the premium version. I have tried to find the instructions but have had no luck so far (using the search tool).
