Upgrade to Premium Virtue Theme

I have been using the free version of the Virtue Theme. After customizing my free version I set up a child theme so that I would not lose my customizations. Today I upgraded to the premium version of Virtue and I have installed it however I have not activated the theme. How do I activate the new upgraded version without losing all my customizations from the old version. Also, do I now need to make a second child theme for Virtue Premium?
