Upgrade Virtue and Ascend themes to PHP version 8

My web host is asking me to update all my sites to PHP version 8.0
Currently my sites are running PHP 7.4 and when I update to 8.0 the sites are breaking and I have to revert back to 7.4
This only seems to happen to the Kadence Classic Themes, e.g. Virtue and Ascend.
Is this a known issue, and if so, when will it be fixed?
