Upload Virtue Theme Premium

Hi
I tried to upload the “virtue_premium_v3_0_6” in wordpress. I searched for the zip-file and clicked upload. Unfortunatly the upload process
does not work properly. It starts to unzip the file, but never finishes. To solve the issue I uploaded the template manually with FileZilla.
Finally I had the template uploaded. Now a new issue occured. As soon as I click on the Activate-button I get a white screen.
I installed the free version of the virtue template to check if I have a general problem installing templates, but it worked perfectly.
I wonder if there are any technical requirements that my server doesn´t fulfill.
Can anyone of you plrease tell me the technical requirements and give me a hint to solve my problem?
