Using lightbox for portfolio grid page

First up, thanks for developing such a great theme! We’re interested in having a slight modification done to the portfolio page. The theme’s default portfolio grid allows the lightbox to be displayed at level 3 (portfolio single), but I need the lightbox to be displayed at level 2 (portfolio page), which is basically what I’ve done by disabling the default lightbox in main.js and using the Lightbox 2 plugin instead: *Login to see link

The issue faced here is, the lightbox will navigate through all images rather than the filtered images (by category), so I’m not sure how it should or could be fixed. Is there any way we could allow the lightbox to display only the filtered images, rather than all images?
