Mainly for SEO reasons but of course also accessibility I went through all my pages images to check if they have a meaningful alt attribute (so that crawlers or visually impaired users can make sense of the images too). I noticed that the alt attribute as output by the variation swatches plugins is just a technical string that is not really meaningful like attribute_pa_<attribute-name>, e.g. attribute_pa_menge.
