Virtue 2.8.0 Fatal Error after update

After updating from 2.7.9 to 2.8.0 I now receive the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function hex2rgb() in /home/wp_i3cm2k/proud-canadian.com/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium/lib/shortcodes.php on line 426
I am not familiar with PHP, what would be the best way to resolve this error?
