Virtue compatibility issues with WooCommerce "Product Gallery Slider" plugin

Hello Ben and Hannah,

I’ve recently purchased the “Product Gallery Slider” plugin from WooCommerce (*Login to see link but can’t get it to work with the Virtue theme.

When the plugin is activated, the product images appear for a split second on the product detail page, and then disappear. I’ve tried playing around with the image options: setting a global aspect ratio, defining specific pixel dimensions, hard cropping and regenerating thumbnails, but haven’t been able to produce any results.

I then contacted the plugin developer, who told me “The plugin is designed to be friendly to all themes, but your theme has quite a few template overrides, which could be the source of the problem.” He then recommended trying the Twenty Fifteen theme as well as disabling plugins one by one to figure out what’s causing the problem.

Disabling plugins didn’t change anything, but the Product Gallery Slider plugin did work when using the standard Twenty Fifteen theme. I’d be grateful if you guys could take a look.

I’m aware that this issue might be beyond the support you offer on the forums, especially since we’re dealing with a third party plugin. But perhaps all that’s needed is a simple tweak or one line of code. However, if a fix is more complicated than that, please let me know and I will request a refund from the plugin developer.
