Virtue Gallery in Portfolio – image size

In the portfolio pages – using Virtue Gallery Image grid — I need the image thumbnails to be landscaped (300×275) vs. the square thumbnails that are generated. I tried switching the gallery to just a WordPress Gallery (and changed the thumbnail size), but then I lose the lightbox functionality. Is there anyway to set the thumbnail/image size in the Virtue Gallery – without using the masonry max size option? Or to add the lightbox functionality to a WordPress Gallery?
