Virtue Image Menu Item Text alignment.

Hello Ben and Hannah. I have a simple question that I have been trying to find the answer to in the forum but have been unsuccessful. How can I use the Virtue Image Menu Item to get the effect of the image attached? I am willing to use either the title or the description text. The end result should be that whatever size image I use I need the overlay area with text to remain at the bottom of the image. I have tried modifying these custom CSS that I found in some of the forum comments:
