Virtue Theme Issue with Categories and PayPal c

Hi,I have just had paypal tech support tell me there is an issue with Virtue Theme not compatible with PayPal Express short code button,we have had to go back to the old standard paypal checkout and unable for our customers to move to the new PayPal express checkout.
In the back end there is also an issue with editing categories. The top left hand side does not display.
Can you advise if these theme issues will be addressed.
