Want all feature photos same size when using blog_posts

I am hoping you can give me some tips on how to set up both my photos and/or my blog_posts shortcode so all my feature photos are the same uniform size.
On my events page, I am using: [blog_posts type=normal items=”9″ orderby=”date” cat=events]
