My search through the forum has mentioned the use of watermarks to protect images, which is what I want to do. Ultimately I only want to watermark the images when they are in the lightbox as that’s when they appear to be the largest. I am okay with the thumbnails not having watermarks.

Is there a way to add a transparent overlay that contains my watermark into the lightbox? Or do I have to have two separate media images? One that’s not watermarked for the thumbnail and a watermarked one for the larger one in the lightbox.
