I notice when I’m working with blocks (or at least with the row layout block – I haven’t tested all blocks) that when I’ve had my own margin or padding and I remove it, the change isn’t reflected in the backend (unless I update the page and then refresh the page).

I would assume that when I remove a custom margin or padding, it should go back to whatever the default is.
