WooCommerce Overriding Shop Page Settings

WooCommerce settings appear to be overriding my Purchase (or Shop) page settings.
I have set WooCommerce Settings –> Products –> Display values for sorting products on the page. The Purchase (Shop) page now defaults to the Pinnacle original background image that shipped with the download. My selected background image is not showing up. I cannot get the page’s main title or subtitle to show up either.
