My Settings/Reader/Front Page Display is currently set to ‘Your Latest Posts’ but I would like to change it to ‘Static Page’ so that I can set up a Home Page in the ‘Pages’ section (currently I do not have a ‘Home’ page here). I want to use Page Maker to make some changes to the home page, not radically but everything below the menus would be worked on. (see anotherworldago.com)

I would like to keep my website as is while I do all of this redesign, which will mean a lot of trial and error while I build… can I treat this new ‘Home’ page as Private and therefore work on it behind the scenes. Then when I’m ready, go into Settings/Reader and change that Front page display to ‘Static Page’ and poof! my newly designed page is good to go??
