I’m using the WP User Avatar (WPUA) plugin to enable custom avatars for my blog authors.

I’m having some issues with certain avatars being cropped to 80×50 dimensions.

See a working author avatar here:

See a broken avatar here:

This happens despite the two images having the same dimensions. Sometimes, if I play with different dimensions (such as 95×95 or 100×100), it’ll work. Still, this one and another in particular continue to crop oddly. Also, if I go into the Chrome developer and change the src on the img by removing the appended “-80×50”, it will work as intended.

Not sure if this is WPUA or Virtue doing this.
