New Features: Kadence Advanced Query Loop Block
Hey Kadence family,
Thanks for your positive response to the recent release of Advanced Query Loop. Fueled by your excellent contribution and creative drive, this week we were able to deploy another round of features and enhancements to this dynamic content block: Welcome to Advanced Query Loop, Phase 2.

It doesn’t end here. We are committed to enhancing your ability to present dynamic content in the most engaging and efficient ways possible. Please keep the ideas and recommendations coming – we are already working diligently toward the next release.
Overview
This Advanced Query Loop Block update brings new filtering options—range, ratings, and swatch filters—to improve content navigation on WordPress sites. These tools make finding content or products easier and more intuitive for visitors, aligning with their preferences.
For creators, this update means creating more engaging, user-focused websites that encourage interaction and could boost site performance. It also includes individual post selection, related post displays, infinite scroll, and indexes WooCommerce data like variations and prices, enhancing eCommerce functionality.
Range Filter
Now, users can dynamically filter content based on a range of values. Display ranges (such as prices) with or without a user-friendly slider.
Ratings and Swatch Filters
Elevate your product catalogs or review sites with intuitive rating filters and visually appealing swatch options for color variations.
Infinite Scroll Option
Keep your audience hooked with an endless stream of content, seamlessly loading as they scroll.

Select Specific Posts
Gain granular control by handpicking posts to display, offering unparalleled customization for your layouts.

Related Posts Option
Like the Similar Posts section on your Single Post Pages, this feature allows you to suggest additional content, enhancing user engagement. This setting will inherit the Kadence Related Posts Query, which shows posts with the same Tags and Categories as the current one being viewed.
Enhanced WooCommerce Integration
Support for indexing WooCommerce data including variations, price, rating, and color, transforming your store’s browsing experience.

Additional Enhancements
The Advanced Query Loop Block Phase 2 brings several enhancements to improve your site’s functionality and user experience:
Term Order Option: Customize the display order of taxonomy terms, supporting custom order set via plugins.
Exclude Current Post Toggle: Easily exclude the current post from queries, enhancing content relevance.
Icons in Filter Labels: Add visual cues to filter labels for a more intuitive user interface.
Sticky Posts Inclusion/Exclusion: Choose whether to include or exclude sticky posts in your queries.
WooCommerce Meta Fields for Dynamic Content: Directly select WooCommerce meta fields like product price for dynamic content display, bypassing the need for custom meta keys.
Kadence Elements and Woo Template Support: Use Kadence Elements and WooCommerce templates as content within your Query Card for more design flexibility.
These updates aim to provide more control and creativity in presenting content and products, ensuring a seamless experience for both creators and visitors.

i’d love to be able to filter on custom field data

The Advanced Query Loop is an amazing tool. I do have a few questions though related to this new update:
1. Term Order Option – this isn’t referring to the filter items / buttons, is it? I’m really needing to be able to define the order based on a custom sort order but right now it’s either by name or by total results.
2. Exclude Current Post Toggle – I’m looking but I don’t see this. Right now it will exclude the current post by default with no option to include the current post, which is what I need. I don’t see a toggle either way. I checked and my Kadence Blocks Pro is at 2.3.1

These improvements are fantastic and just what I need right now. Can you tell me where the Exclude current post toggle is? I double-checked my version and I’m on 2.3.1 and I’m not seeing that toggle? Is it on the General, Style or Advanced tab?
