    Hello, I am wondering if it’s possible to place a cyclone slider in the image segment of the split content widget – or if shortcode functionality could be added to place the cyclone shortcode there. Since I am using the page builder I tried adding two columns with the cyclone widget on the left and a text widget on the right but it looked really awful as they resized separately and do not line up. I like how in the split content widget the text stays central to the left side and resizes really nicely.

    Hey so we can help better with a link but to clarify with point 6. that would only be possible if you add the icon menu items through pagebuilder using a fullwidth row. You can use page builder to set up the columns you want and add a visual editor widget to each column. Tn the widget you can click on the virtue shortcodes to add the icon box shortcode.

    Hey,
    If your wanting more like the custom carousel I would suggest just using the page content or home widget area then you can use pagebuilder to set up columns and add an image with text below using a visual editor widget. That would be easier and a better route then trying to make the image menu something it’s not designed for.

    Hi,
    I dont have enough knowledge to do it by myself, so I ask You for help. My webpage is
    My problems:
    1. I have Social links widget, that I have inserted into Footer column 1. But I wated it would be just under the content (picture) and there is some free space under the picture. I would like to have it like on the screen
    2. Page Blog is my post page. I would like it would be displayed in few columns side by side with pagination (one column is post pisture and under this post excerpt). Now the posts are displayed over-under. I’ve seen settings to do this by theme option but only if new posts would be on my home page. Here they aren’t. I’ve found some plugin but there is info:
    Copy & paste this code into a template file to display this WPLP block: echo do_shortcode(‘[frontpage_news widget=”101″ name=”Block”]’);
    I don’t know really where should I paste this (and does it works ok)
    3. Is it possible to have page title like on this screen (in the same line as primary menu).
    4. I would like to have line between a header and the content (like on this screen).

    Thanks for any help

    Hi … I am back! // perhaps I can just continue on here?

    I have been unable to get this Virtue Premium v 3.4.5 theme to work any (well, 3) of my multisites .. and have given up.

    That is just to report back // Don’t know why it won’t work with my multisites? Maybe because in each case I have between 20-40 multisites/subdomains created and having to network activate the theme kept creating too much CPU usage? they were on individual shared accounts hostgator/bluehost ….

    Anyway … So, I have been using this on non-multisites. Now I have come across an issue.

    For the life of me – I have gone through every Virtue Premium Feature settings on all three sites trying to replicate identical outputs.

    I worked on my 4th one http://2YRD.com then matched the 3rd site http://CorydonClock.com and then went to replicate the settings on the 2nd sute that I set up with the theme http://ITEM-SITE.com (the first one 1800HART.com doesn’t have this feature) …

    I can’t get the “Best Selling Products” section on the Item-Site theme to work or pull any products. After the first time I set it up on the other 2 sites, nothing has changed since the first slider appeared. This is the “On Sale Products” section in the “Home Layout” .. here are my settings:

    ===============================
    Home On Sale Product Settings

    Home On Sale Product Carousel Title
    e.g. = On Sale Products Best Selling Products

    Choose how many columns are in carousel 4

    Choose how many products are in carousel 18

    Carousel Scroll = All visible

    Choose the Carousel Speed = 7

    ================================

    Could you bring light why there is no carousel of products on Item-Site and why after first initial load no new items were added to the other two sites?

    Thank-you.

    Hey Carmen,
    You can hide three of your footer columns using css like this:

    @media (max-width: 480) {
    .col-md-3.col-sm-6.footercol2 {
        display: none;
    }
    .col-md-3.col-sm-6.footercol3 {
        display: none;
    }
    .col-md-3.col-sm-6.footercol4 {
        display: none;
    }
    }

    Just paste that into your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings.
    Does that work for you?

    Hi Ridzwan,
    Sorry for the delay! I think page builder is going to be the most helpful in getting your site set up how you’ve described. Through it you can add rows, columns, widgets, etc. Check out this tutorial- https://www.kadencewp.com/using-page-builder-virtue-premium/
    Also see documentation here- http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#
    Let me know if you have further questions!

    Hi Ben,

    Please kindly take a look at this link:
    http://www.ckingsensors.com/ckingsupplier.

    I am using the call-to-action in the footer widget area (4 all together: footer 1, footer2, footer3, footer4).
    I have changed the background color of each column so I can hopefully explain what I want to do.

    The four footer columns are in red, green, brown, and pink.

    Within each of this footer column you can see the blue box with a text.

    Right now, depending on long the text in those blue boxes are, the width and height of each box changes accordingly.

    My question:
    How do I change:

    1) the width
    2) the height and
    3) the background color

    of these blue boxes so they don’t change every time I change the text within those boxes?

    I am using Virtue Premium.

    Thank you,
    Jay

    Go to footer columns. This is what you gave me to tighten line spacing–

    If you want more or less space you can change the -5 to whatever you like

    #containerfooter h3 {
    margin-bottom: -5px;
    }

    However, this code didn’t work to reduce line spacing between Footer widgets lines of title and page link lists below title. And ideas? I want to tighten it up under title and between page links below title.

    Here’s the code I have currently for footer columns:

    font-size: 15px;
    }

    #containerfooter .menu li a {
    background-color: hsla(0,0%,0%,0);
    }
    #containerfooter .menu li a {

    “padding-bottom: 0px;
    margin-bottom: 0px;”

    }

    footer#containerfooter span {
    font-size: 12px;
    }

    aside#archives-2 ul li {
    font-size: 12px;
    }

    .kad-info-box h4 {
    font-size: 14px;
    }

    Hello,

    I used PageBuilder to make portfolio items :
    – 1 row divided in 2 columns
    – Text based on Editor widget in left cell
    – 2 Pinnacle info boxes in right cell

    1) How can I center info boxes, meaning set them in the middle of the column?
    2) How can I center text part, meaning set it in the middle of the row?

    Thanks for your help,

    Marina

    Thanks Ben, that added two staff members in in two columns!

    It just displayed title, subtitle and excerpt so I’ve now read the shortcode docs to see and use limit_content="false" to display the rest.

    [staff_posts columns="2" items="2" limit_content="false"]

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

    on my page I have a page-builder layout with two columns for the content. I added the following costum css to have a background color and a 12px border at the top.

    .padel-grid-cell {
    border-top: 12px solid #295c88;
    background-color: #dce9ef;
    }

    This works like intended, but i cannot get a margin in between my two columns. I hope you can help me.

    Best Regards.

    ^ That shortcode should work for you.

    #77002

    Hey,
    You can use a shortcode like this: [portfolio_posts columns="4" items="12"]
    Just paste it directly into a visual editor widget.
    Hope it helps!

    I would better align the four columns of widgets in the footer. Because as you can see from the link they are not equidistant from each other, especially the last one is very moved to the left.
    Can you help me. thank you!

    Hey,
    The width is set by how many columns you choose. The height is square unless you choose to define a specific height. Does that help?
    Ben

    #76701

    Try taking a look under Appearance > Widgets and see if there is a menu under any of the Footer Columns

    #76684

    Hey Ronald,
    So the homepage cannot actually take on a page template like blog grid. It is already it’s own template. You would need to use a default template and add your posts via shortcode like this: [blog_grid orderby=date items=12 columns=3]
    See full list of shortcodes here- http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#shortcodes
    Hope that helps!

    Hey,
    So actually this isn’t possible with the virtue theme. The carousel setup isn’t set up for fullwidth this has to do with how the javascript works that sets up the columns. You would have to re-write the code through a child theme for this to be fullwidth.

    you also can’t remove the gaps unless you make the carousel thinner because the images that are used are designed to be cropped the to size they are needed at. with the gaps the size is 366px and if you remove those your image wouldn’t then fill the space because that would be larger then 366px.

    So you can see what I mean with making the carousel thinner by adding this css:

    .home-portfolio .fredcarousel .kad_portfolio_item {
        padding: 0;
    }

    .home-portfolio .fredcarousel {
        max-width: 1060px;
        margin: 0 auto;
    }

    Ben
