December 2, 2015 at 2:36 am #69405Hey,
Contact form 7 uses a shortcode so you can just add the shortcode into any page. You can use pagebuilder to create the columns for example if you would like text next to the form.You can turn the theme form off by choosing that option in the page, while your editing it there are page options just for the contact page template.

Thank you Ben. Actually, I had a plugin conflicting and preventing the “Enable Fullwidth Sub-Menu” to be displayed. It is all sorted, thank you.
Now, I would like to know where I can amend the number of columns to be displayed. It is, I believe, limited to 4 max.
Thank you so much for your support.

November 30, 2015 at 4:52 pm #69091Hey,
1. The shortcode is shown on the link I posted so I thought you would have seen it: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/product-categories-grid-2/[product_categories number="12" parent="0" columns="3"]You can add in the home page content or in the home page widget area through a text widget.
2. Category pages are built once you add categories in your woocommerce product options.
See here for example: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/product-category/apparel/
You just need to add a categories and assign images for those categories.
If your wanting to find the link just got to products > categories in your admin and click view. Then copy the url in your browser.

Hey Antoine,
The homepage has its own page template so you can’t override it with another page template. What you can do is use a default page template and add a portfolio shortcode like this:
[portfolio_posts columns="4" items="16"]
Does that work for you?Hannah

November 30, 2015 at 12:14 pm #69033Hey,
So I suggest that you shouldn’t do this, extending that paragraph below the image in the right column isn’t going to work with columns. Your only option would be to make the area with that text and images one column where both images are added above the text, and you float right the image that you currently have in the right column.. What this will mean for mobile is both images will appear above the text when it drops to “mobile layout”.Ben

Hey Eolica,
You could use a shortcode like this-[blog_posts items="12" columns="3" cat="photo"]
If you want it on the homepage you could enable the home widget area from Theme Options > Home Layout then paste the shortcode in a visual editor widget from Appearance > Widgets.
Hope that helps!Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
I have searched for published answers, but nothing solves my problem.
1) I would like to add the products I have on sale on the homepage, as shown in your Demo (I even bought Premium, might be that the problem)showed here: *Login to see link
One big image (no need to be a slider) and the products under it.
I have set the hp as a static page, enabled page content, created the products pages, added the shortcode ([featured_products per_page=”4″ columns=”4″]) …but nothing happens.
*Login to see link2) How can I define the size of the slide? I would like a static image, as shown on your Demo image (*Login to see link But if I use a background, it appears large but short in height. The sliders aren’t large the same.
Can you help me, please?
Thanks,
AnaIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Staff section for the homepage layout?
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeGood afternoon,
I am currently using page builder at the bottom of our homepage (*Login to see link ). The page builder layout is one row with four Pinnacle Info Boxes: 1)Follow our Adventures | 2)Follow on Instagram | 3)Follow on Twitter | 4)Follow on Flikr.
I have encountered difficulty customizing the HTML in Editor mode and I wanted to ask for any guidance you can provide:
1) Switching target value for links
I would like the links for Instagram, Twitter and Flikr open a new tab. After moving from Pagebuilder into editor mode and switching target value from ‘_self’ to ‘_blank’, the page builder formatting (one row with four columns) is gone. Each Pinnacle info box appears as a list and I cannot return to page builder mode to create four columns. Is there any way to adjust the target value to ‘_blank’ and keep the page builder formatting?2)Adjusting the layout of the ‘Follow our Adventures’ information box
This section of the page builder row contains a pinnacle information box and the Jetpack Blog Subscription Widget. Nothing needs to be done to customize the Jetpack widget, but I would like to remove spacing inbetween the Pinnacle Info Box and Jetpack Subscription Widget. After trying to do this, I encounter the same problem as above where the page builder formatting is gone.3) Adjusting hover on links
When a reader hovers over the information box, only the ‘description’ field for each information box changes color. Ideally, I would like the hover change to only take place for the icon, but if that is not possible then I would like the entire information box to hover. Similar to the other changes, I have been unable to successfully use editor to view to do this.Thank you for your time and assistance, I would appreciate any guidance that you can provide.

November 28, 2015 at 11:36 am #68805Hey,
In your theme options > home layout. Make sure to set the height of the image menu based on the images.. You can do that in the image menu area.are you wanting these items to stay in columns on mobile and tablet?

November 28, 2015 at 11:22 am #687991. Truly centered isn’t really possible but if you can post a link I would be happy to work up some css that would get your close. The topbar is split into two columns so you would need to make one larger then float the search to the side by the middle then use media queries to adjust as the screen gets smaller.
2. Sure you can hide the topbar.
@media (max-width: 768px){ section#topbar { display: none; } }The normal menus are supposed to be replaced by the mobile navigation. You just need to set a menu for your mobile nav in your appearance > menus.
3. You can’t “zoom out” because the whole point in responsive is to make the links and text readable for mobile devices. That way you don’t get hit with bad google rankings either. But you can certainly make them two rows instead of one:
@media (max-width: 768px){ .kad_product { float: left; width: 50%; } }4. Sure you can use SVG. It would be your server that would be enableing or disabling that option not the theme.
Otherwise I suggest png and I suggest using a normal and a retina size.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: can't link search widget to Icon in topbar
November 28, 2015 at 1:24 am #68752Hi!
ok I decided to use the search widget via pagebuilder which I entered in the topbar widget. I have all topbar settings switched to on (including left icons go the right and right to the left).
I am still having an issue now with the search widget’s position in the topbar (and text and phone number that I added via Visual editor). These 2 items are situated at slightly different hights from the top. They should be at the same padding from the top as the icons*. Also they are both pushed too far to the left. Actually the text should be positioned approximately where the search widget starts and the search widget should be around 30px to the right from the text and phone number.
*Note: I kept the icon menu but now with only 3 icons (on the right side of the topbar) and one of them is the language switcher widget: I am satisfied with how those items are are situated.
Here is the css code I am using:
.headerclass {
padding: 25px;
}.topbarmenu ul li a {
padding: 10px 30px;
font-size: 14px;
}.topbarmenu ul li a {
color: yellow;
}#topbar ul.sf-menu > li > a:hover {
color: white;
}For the topbar widget- in page builder I created 1 row with 2 columns set equally at 50% and visual editor and search widgets are inserted in each “block”.
here is link to the website: http://new.alarch-skylights.com/
I hope that the link will make things clear.Thanks again for your help.

November 27, 2015 at 5:08 pm #68737Hey,
You can use a shortcode to show the grid then add your content. This way you don’t use the grid template.[staff_posts columns="3" items="10"]Ben

November 27, 2015 at 12:37 pm #68695ok, in your settings > reading. Set the front page to be the posts page.
Then in your theme options > home layout. Move “latest posts” to disabled. And move “page content” to enabled.
Scroll down to the bottom of the theme options > home layout and set your latest posts style to grid with three columns.

You can’t for the home latest posts unless you make your home page the posts page so it effects the content. Else you can use the shortcode in your static page content.[blog_posts type="photo" items="10" columns="4"]Ben
