Hi, I am currently trying to get the website tub images on equinexceed.com to view in columns of 2 for mobiles instead of the single image that it now defaults to. This would tidy up the mobile page and customers would have less scrolling to do. The images are in 4 columns and sit great in desktop view. Is it possible to get the images in columns of 2 for mobile experience.

i have tried to use the ascend gallery option as well but it also defaults to single column view in mobile mode.

    Thanks for your help
    Adrian.

    Hey,
So actually this is working how it was set up to. The setting you see in the theme options applies to the columns that would show on standard screens. In your theme options > layout settings there is a “Site Layout Max-Width” if you set that larger then 1140 it will make the grids in your site add more columns as the screen size gets larger to accommodate for the larger space.

You can force a column amount even for larger screens with css like this:

    @media (min-width: 1400px) {
        .kt-width-large ul.products .product {
            width: 33.33%;
        }
    }

Hello, can you help me please.
In the store and pages category, I can’t display the products in 3 or 4 columns. They remain on 5. However I put the parameters of the theme on 3 columns but it does not take into account.
    Thank you for your reply

    I’m currently working on:

    1) How do I center align the spacer/divider block on tablet and mobile devices? It’s set to left align on Desktop devices as that’s the look I want to go with but i need it aligned center for tablet/mobile devices. There seems to be no options for different devices.

    2) How do I equalize column heights? The last section on my page has two columns with a green background. How do I make them both of the same height?

    3) And finally, how do I change the placement of the form submit button to Right as there seems to be no option for that too.

    Help would be appreciated.

    Hello there,

I am porting my old homepages to the new Kadence Blocks, but I am missing two importants assets.

    Pinnacle: Call To Action
In the page builder layout was a nice and ready to use Call 2 Action asset. However, that is completely missing in the Kadence Blocks. Two columns,a button a pattern are not cutting it, and have to be customized again and again. Will that be added or did I miss anything?

    Pinnacle: Gallery
I can use the advanced gallery but not matter which arrangement of pictures I use, I cannot reproduce the wonderful old Mosaic layout. I loved the mix between the different rations 1:1 2:1 and 1:2. Any help how to get that back?

    Hi Hannah
If that fits all, I would prefer that the 3 columns remain side by side.
    Otherwise like on mobile.
    Thank you !

I know I can sort of achieve this by building my patterns within a 1-column Row Layout block, but that’s a lot of unnecessary code and raises the odds of conflicts with something else on the page

I would argue it’s not actually a lot of extra code. And the performance and flexibility it brings makes it worth using. To further explain by using the row layout you are only loading that blocks css once on the page so if anywhere you need to use a row for columns or for a container it’s one base css. If I create a new block then it will need it’s own css file to be paired with it. Kadence only loads the css and extra scripts for the blocks you use so for example you are never loading a tabs css on a page that has no tabs.

The extra code is then 2 divs if you use the row layout instead of a potential group block that will have to have some of it’s own base css.

So I get what you are asking for I don’t think it’s totally necessary but I have had this request before and I’m not saying it won’t happen I just don’t know that it will be the next block.

    I hope that helps clarify.

I’m really happy with Kadence Blocks Pro for its flexibility, RWD options and consistency, as well as the well-chosen suite of blocks. I’m hoping you’ll be open to adding one more simple one: a Wrapper or Group block that would extend the Kadence toolset even further.

In my case, I’m creating a bunch of block patterns (using Justin Tadlock’s Block Pattern Builder) to give my authors a set of preformatted design elements, all based on one or more Kadence blocks. But sometimes, to make this work within our site style, I need to be able to apply backgrounds, padding/margin or typography selections to these multiblock patterns. That’s easy enough if I’m working from scratch within a Row Layout container, but I need the ability to drop these block patterns anywhere on a page, without bringing along the full columnar formatting.

What I’m hoping for is, effectively, a Wrapper block that includes the flexibility and conventions of the Kadence Blocks Pro suite, has the responsive styling tools of Row Layout and its component Columns (padding/margin, background color/image, border, shadow, alignment, text color & typography, structure settings and anchor/additional CSS options) without the column layout overhead. I know I can sort of achieve this by building my patterns within a 1-column Row Layout block, but that’s a lot of unnecessary code and raises the odds of conflicts with something else on the page.

    Thanks for your consideration.

    ~ Steve

    Hey Ben,

    1. Got it, got it working! I also found a bug with this, when enabling mega sub-menu with 4 number of columns, the menu doesn’t open anymore on hover. When having 3 columns or less, it’s working again.

    2. Instead of having a shopping bag, I would like to have a cart icon.

    3. Aw, I am trying to achieve this result (see screenshot)

    4. My site isn’t live yet, I am working locally. But see the screenshot of what I am trying to achieve of the cart and the search. Howver I am using local (free by flywheel, I can give you a live link but with limited resources and limited connections, so it won’t be working constantly – I’ll provide this privately in a next answer)

5a. Yes much better thank you, can we also achieve this? Bigger input, bigger buttons and icon on the add to cart button? (see screenshot)

5b. Yes but that means I’ll need to do it for every product. I think this would be a nice extra feature for woo extra?

    5c. Working perfect!

    6. Awesome!

    7. Just a black line is fine.

    8. I got this plugin, however I am not able to do it, I can’t really seem to change the styling of the category.

    9. Okay, a nice feature request then 😀

Thank you very much for your help Ben! I do appreciate it!

    Hey Peggy,
How are you wanting your third column to display for tablets? Are you wanting all three columns to remain side by side? Or do you want them to drop to a single column as in mobile?

    Hi

I would like to have advice if possible with page buider?
I have 3 columns (with circles + text) which on the tablet are not displayed correctly. The first two columns are one behind the other, but the third is displayed
below the line and it is not very design.
Do you have an idea to adjust this display?
    Thanks !

    Hello,

I noticed some bugs with elementor while editing a single product page :

    – It’s impossible to edit the color of sales price, only the regular price color is working.
    – In WooExtra, “Choose a gallery type” is not working.
    – In WooExtra, “Select how many thumbnail columns are visible at a time” is not working.

    And more …

Hi-I’m having a host of problems on this site on mobile:

    1. Overall on the website, I’d like to have a thin border on all images.
    2. In the first row, the logo needs to show larger on mobile.
    3. Also in first row, I want to tighten up padding between columns (my fake navigation) on mobile.
    4. In row 3 (with the image blocks and titles) the links change to white when visited, on mobile only.
    5. Also in row 3, I want to reduce the padding between everything on mobile.

    Thank you, Carrie

    Hi Johann,
    See here: https://www.kadencewp.com/knowledge-base/two-product-columns-in-mobile/
Is that what you’re after? If not, can you provide a link?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
I want to ask if it is possible to have two columns instead of one for woocommerce product categories on the mobile device (phone). It would save the user a lot of scrolling.

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks Hannah,
I think we are stuck with the images they have given us.

If we can’t get the height to increase in a Slider type Gallery block, I notice the behaviour is different if I use a shortcode.

If I use the following shortcode in a sidebar widget, the image size is expanded to fill the space so the images are larger.

    [gallery ids="292,293,294,295,296,297,298,299,300,301,302,303,304,305,306,307,308,309,310,311" type="slider" columns="1" lightboxsize="large"]

    1. Is there a way to switch off the lightbox effect?
    2. How can I associate an external URL with each image so the user can click on the image and fvisit the supplier site?

    Thanks,
    Phil.

    Hi there,

It seems like all of the sudden, we are facing formatting errors when we are using orderby=date in a shortcode.

For example, our homepage uses this shortcode: [carousel type=”cat-products” orderby=date xscol=”2″ sscol=”2″ items=”8″ columns=”4″] to display the newest items in a carousel format. However, when we include the “orderby=date” in the shortcode, the formatting becomes totally off. See link below.

We are using this shortcode in our New Arrivals page too, and the formatting is completely off as well. Moreover, some products will show the “Select Options” or “Add to cart” button on the catalogue page, when it shouldn’t.

We are facing this issue all of the sudden when there was no such issue previously. We look forward to your assistance.

    #251965

    I don’t follow.
I’m using a gallery of type= “slider”. There isn’t an option on the number of columns.

    image

But it would be really good if the height could be extended so that the image fills the width of the column.

    Thanks,
    Phil.
