    I think you are simply confusing above widget area with the footer columns. They are different layouts. You are adding the layout where the first footer widget is fullwidth and the second is the first in the three columns below. The above footer widget area is a completely separate widget area.

    If you just want three columns then choose three columns and if you want to add a widget area above that turn that on separately.

    I found this post regarding animation delays but the code kt-pb-animation kt-pb-fadeIn kt-pb-duration-600 kt-pb-delay-300 doesn’t work.

    Is there a way to add a delay to the kt-animate-fade-in-up?

    Reference link: Chantelcohen.com/kwsm/counseling/

    I’d like to stagger the animation for all three columns going left to right. So 300s, 600s, and 900s.

    Hi,
    we are using the last version of the theme but, selecting a 3 footer colums + above widget area, we are experiencing a strange behaviour: the columns are not positioning horizontally…but, vertically….

    another strange thing is happening… if we select a two column footer there are three column widget, if we select 3 column footer, there are 4 column footer widget….

    CAn you check please?

    Thank you very much
    Angelo

    Hey,
    Read through this and missed where you said your site is in construction mode. Sorry,
    Might be easier still to post a temp login. You can use “Set as private reply” for that.

    the reason is with the css I posted I don’t have any issue styling a link inside a shortcode like columns.

    If your using p as part of your selector then that would make sense because the output of a shortcode isn’t always wrapped in a p tag.

    If you remove my css you will see a white line under each photo. I’m just giving you some design help for using on a dark background.

    Two separate galleries is what you would have to do to allow for columns to be different in width.
    Or you can check out the tiles option.

    Well, the above doesn’t always work. If a link is within text surrounded by shortcodes, it doesn’t get the formatting outlined in the above CSS. So far I’ve seen it with Columns and Popovers. How can I get “link” and “hover” to format as I want even when the text is being handled through a shortcode?

    And as I go back and look at a page where all the links had my new color, now only the mailto: links have that color – http: links have the default color. Two steps forward, one step back. How did the link formatting change from just a day or so ago, with no change to the page with the links? Or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

    Just so you know, the theme is designed to increase the number of columns when viewing on a very large display. This is done for the purposes of making the content easier to read for your site visitors. If you wish to change to 3 columns on even the larger displays, try this CSS and let me know if it works for you:

    @media (min-width: 1200px)  {
    .page-id-242 .kad_blog_item {
        width: 33.333% !important;
        }
    }

    Add to Theme Options> Custom CSS, and let me know if that works for you.

    Hey,
    In your theme options > layout settings, you are using an extra wide layout for larger screens. This means that on larger screens as your layout expands more columns are added so that your content does not stretch.

    You can either change your max width to 1170 which is standard size or change your columns to 2 which would be 3 on larger screens but then 2 on standard screens.

    Or you can force the grid to be three with css and have your content stretch:

    @media (min-width: 992px){
        .kt_blog_shortcode .col-md-4.kad_blog_item {
            width: 33.33%;
        }
    }

    Hi, I want to put the blog grid with the shortcode on my page. The page is without sidebar, fullwide.
    I want to have the grid displayed in 3 columns, here is the shortcode:
    [blog_posts type=”grid” orderby=”date” items=”6″ columns=”3″]
    but it is not working, 4 columns grid are showing.
    Can you please give me some advice, thanks in advance, Gabi

    You would have to use the pinnacle carousel shortcode.

    [carousel type="cat-products" xscol="2" sscol="2" items="8" columns="4"]

    Hi Hannah,

    We would like the carousel to show 2 products per row (2 columns) when viewed on mobile and the short-code allows us to do that. Is there any way to do this with the Pinancle: Carousel widget?

    Thanks for your assistance!

    Warmest,

    Hi Elaine,
    Try using this: [portfolio_posts type=branding orderby=rand columns=4 items=20 ratio="square" style="mosaic"]
    If that doesn’t work can you post a link to where you’re adding this?
    Thanks!

    I have been working on using a shortcode and I ALMOST have it but not quite. Here is what I am trying to do: within page builder I have a text widget and added the shortcode to show only images from a portfolio type called “branding” which is a child of “everything”. I want to have 4 column and show up to 20 images, and in random order. I’d love to have masonry but I will take mosaic instead if that is the only option. I’ve tried different things but I keep getting the same images, in mosaic, but not in random order, and from different child categories – not the one called “branding”. Here is the shortcode I used, perhaps you could help me?

    [portfolio_posts childcategories="true" childof="everything" type="branding" orderby="rand" columns=4 items=20 ratio="square" style="mosaic"]

    Please help as I feel I am close.

    Thank you!
    Elaine

    Hi Chuan,
    You can display your recent products with a shrotcode like this: [recent_products per_page="12" columns="4"]
    Hope it helps!

    I have a row with 2 columns.

    I put a revolution slider in the left most column, but instead of displaying inside the column, it centers across the entire row.

    I tried the Revolution Slider widget, as well as a text widget with a shortcode.

    This happens with any slider I have, and on different pages.

    Any suggestions?

    You can see issue just above the footer here:

    The slider is the “Request Pricing” box.

    WP: 4.9.1
    Ascend Premium 1.3.2
    PageBuilder: 2.6.0
    SO Widgets Bundle: 1.11.2
    Slider Revolution: 5.4.6.4

    Thanks as always!

    Theme: Virtue/Pinnacle/Ascend

    1. I add a row of 2 COLUMNS

    Edit Row –> Layout –> Layout Row –> (Full width o Standard) –> button “DONE”

    view the columns one below the other, like the photo

    http://www.web-progetti.it/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/row2columns.jpg

    Chrome OK – Internet Explorer OK

    PS: on other themes it works perfectly

    Glad the CSS worked for you!

    Yes, with this specific footer setting, the first column is shifted above the rest of them. Take a look at this screenshot where I’ve numbered the columns. That should clear things up:
