    Hi Diana,

    The premium blocks are not visible in the page editor. I see you are using a very outdated version (1.6.1) of the Kadence Blocks Pro. Screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/7KuzPbPY

    Kindly update it to the latest version if you still experience an issue. Please allow us to make changes on the website in order to debug an issue.

    If you are not comfortable sharing/making changes to your live website, you can ask your hosting provider to set up a staging environment for you. Then, share a login to the staging website with us.

    Best regards,

    I discovered that the code in the attachment appears in the pages where the content is messed up but not in the ones where there’s nothing wrong.

    I cannot explain why it’s happening since I didn’t change anything on my site other than updating plugins to latest version of Kadence Themes, Blocks, and Blocks pro.

    The site works perfectly in mobile view. But in desktop mode, all elements are defaulting to 0 with for several of my pages.

    The pages look fine in inside WordPress and in preview mode, but the public mode is all messed up.

    It looks like it has to do with using the Row Layout. If I place the section directly on the page the elements work fine. If I place the elements inside the Row Layout, it messes up.

    This doesn’t explain why it works in certain pages though…it’s almost like something got corrupted.

    Here’s the link to the preview screen view – s/76d6e7f6585fde7557c92f08a21951e0

    Here’s the public view on desktop – s/d73b15975882ededd4422792340c79bb

    This is the mobile view – s/3fc372bfadb97297e7ab8dd22904c80c

    There are other pages that looks just fine anyway even though they are built the same way. So I’m confused.

    I’m going to try to revert to Kadence Blocks 2.x

    I’m using KadenceVersion: 1.1.34 but do not have the pro add on.

    How do you add adsense code to a site?

    All the posts I can find online say go to “Theme Options > Header and Footer Scripts” but I’m assuming this is just for pro users as I can’t see these options.

    So how do non-pro users add adsense code to a page? (I’m completely new to WP and Kadence and struggling to figure where everything goes).

    Thanks

    Matt

    Eze,

    Almost forgot, here is the link to the SiteOrigin Page Builder Widget…

    https://siteorigin.com/widgets-bundle/anything-carousel-widget/

    #282956

    Eze,

    Layouts > Prebuilt Layouts > “Theme Defined Layouts”

    Based on the wording “Theme Defined Layouts”, I would assume this is a Pre-Built Kadence Page Builder Layout. I spoke with the SiteOrigin help and they are convinced it’s a custom pre-build.

    They suggested looking at their widget titled “Anything Carousel”, it has an option to change just about everything… even the color of the navigation dots a.k.a. “slick-dots”.

    A suggestion: This feature needs added to the pre-built layout options, that would be awesome.

    After a plugin update to 1.7.26, the add page pop-up dialog is getting stuck. I’m unable to close the pop-up with the X, and selecting a predefined page doesn’t close the pop-up either, although it does add a page to drafts.
    I’m new to this stuff and all my searching can’t find a way to roll back the plugin. Any help would be appreciated.

    After updating to Pro Blocks 3.0.27 on a site running the Sinatra theme, I noticed my post carousels weren’t looping.

    The carousel has 5 post columns displayed for screens above 1500px, 1200px-1499px, and 992px-1199px:
    Notice the following behavior:

    When viewed in a large/wide browser window, the posts go through their first rotation, and then there is just blank space. No looping.
    When viewed in a tablet-sized window, the posts loop but there’s a gray hairline (smoke trail) right at the top of the images them sometimes.
    Resizing the window at any point freezes the carousel and/or makes the post thumbnails disappear.

    I figured out a temporary fix and applied it to this page:

    This carousel has only 4 post columns displayed for screens above 1500px, 1200px-1499px, and 992px-1199px:
    Notice that the odd behavior is not present (except for the weird smoke trail but if you resize the window, it disappears and gradually comes back).

    I am not sure what’s going on, there don’t seem to be any js errors, but I just thought I’d report it for anyone experiencing the same thing.

    Hi Diana,

    Thanks for sharing website access, I logged in to your website backend and checked the homepage.
    It is showing an error: Your site doesn’t include support for the "kadence/imageoverlay" block.

    If you are seeing that message, that most probably means that the Kadence Blocks PRO is not API activated.
    Check the screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/qGuqX7gy

    1. Go to Settings >> Kadence Licence Activation and find the input box for Kadence Blocks PRO.
    2. This is where you need to input your API key and API email.
    3. For additional reference, see this: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-blocks/kadence-blocks-pro-plugin/

    I hope this helps, please let us know if we can assist you further.

    Hi Daniel,

    I have checked your front page, and the advanced heading is displaying.

    There are two blocks from the element:

    • The row layout-block
    • Advanced heading block

    Check the screencast: https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuRnz6Q

    [Dynamic content]

    • Add Advanced text block > click on Dynamic content option
    • Content: Select Post Title from the drop-down
    • Content Source: Select the page whose title you want to show

    Check the screencast: https://share.getcloudapp.com/12u7o0jp

    Hello,

    I created an element to replace the above content hero.
    I have a row layout block.
    Underneath the row, I have an advanced text block.

    In the advanced text block, I selected the page title to be displayed as dynamic content. The page title displays in the preview within the element.

    The element works fine on the front page EXCEPT the advanced text block is not showing at all. It does not appear.

    How can I get the page title to show as dynamic content in this advanced text block within the element.

    Eze,

    Thank you for the quick reply. Unfortunately, the CSS code you provided did not change the color of the dots. I have messaged SiteOrigin (The Page Builder Plugin author) via their free-support-form and they replied with the following…

    “The SNIP: Client Carousel sounds like it’s a third-party widget added by another plugin or perhaps your theme.”

    I have added two new images to explain where I found the “SNIP: Client Carousel” pre-built layout.
    Let me know if you have any questions.

    Currently, I’m using Ascend Premium Theme 1.9.25 with Page Builder by SiteOrigin 2.20.5.

    Hi @scottrussell86,

    Watch this screen recording on how to add code to the code snippet plugin:
    https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpuA7P5O

    Regarding your second question, yes, the Hooked Elements Pro add-on is designed to work seamlessly with the WooCommerce Multi-Currency Currency Switcher, allowing you to easily place the dropdown box in the desired location on your product pages.

    I hope this was helpful.

    Please let us know how we can help further.

    Cheers,

    #282924

    Hi Ben,

    I can understand the need for a second sidebar layout.

    Currently, there is no default option to add a second sidebar directly on the template element, but I can provide a workaround for you where you can build your own template for single posts/pages content area. Watch this screen recording on how to do that:
    https://share.getcloudapp.com/7Kuzpede

    Otherwise, I will suggest you submit that as a feature request here: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/feature-requests/

    While I cannot provide you with an actual timeline for when this feature will be released, rest assured that the development team will be made aware of it.

    Please let us know how we could help you further.

    Cheers,

    Hi @guruavi,

    You can add a stroke or outline around just any other text on your website.

    To add a 1px or 2px green stroke around the text letter, you can use the CSS text-stroke property. Here’s how you can do it:

    1. In your WordPress dashboard, Go to Appearance > Customize
    2. Click on the Additional CSS option in the left-side pane.
    3. Add the following code:

    selector {
      -webkit-text-stroke: 1px green; /* For webkit browsers */
      text-stroke: 1px green; /* For other browsers */
    }

    Replace “selector” with the CSS selector for the text element you want to apply the stroke. You need to identify the HTML element that contains the text you intend to apply the stroke to, and then use that element’s selector in the CSS code.

    For example, if you would like to apply the stroke to all headings of the h1 tag, you can use the following CSS code:

    h1 {
      -webkit-text-stroke: 1px green;
      text-stroke: 1px green;
    }

    Similarly, if you want to apply the stroke to all paragraphs, you can use the following CSS code:

    p {
      -webkit-text-stroke: 1px green;
      text-stroke: 1px green;
    }

    In general, you can use any valid CSS selector to target the element that contains the text you intend to apply the stroke. This could be an element ID, a class, or any other selector that matches the HTML structure of your website.

    Alternatively, you can add a class name to a block using the “Additional CSS Class” field, via the following steps:
    1. Open the page or post editor on WordPress where the test is located.
    2. Click to edit the text block that you want to add a stroke or outline to.
    3. On the right side pane, click “Advanced” under Block.
    4. In the “Advanced” tab, look for the “Additional CSS Class” field and enter “class-name” (without the quotes). You can replace “class-name” with anything else
    5. Click “Update” to save your changes. See screenshot for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuAY9Z4
    6. You can then go to your Theme Customizer and add the following code to the “Additional CSS”

    .class-name {
      -webkit-text-stroke: 2px yellow;
      text-stroke: 2px yellow;
    }

    I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Cheers,
    Eze

    Hi,

    I’m yet to decide wethere I’ll stick with Kadence or GeneratePress. What confuses me about Kadence is the support platforms.
    This forum is really bad i terms of clarity and the search function in my opinion. I can’t even search in just the Kadence theme forum but have my search results mixed with a lot of results that don’t bother me.
    Then there is the Facebook group, which – ok – is unofficial, but still pushed, for example in the KadenceBlocks page in my admin area. The Facebook group is not searchable and I’ve last used Facebook in 2015 maybe.

    I want to like the product, but I feel like the support platforms are just off? They make the product feel so old and the support experience uncomfortable. Is there plans of changing that anytime soon?

    Thanks!

    #282913

    Hi Steven,
    Thanks for your input! Unfortunately the only way to overwrite the Kadence design is do to so manually through the code. There isn’t a built in option for it. Though you are certainly welcome to submit a feature request! You can do so here: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/feature-requests/
    As for adding styles to the editor interface, this should be happening in your edit pages and posts. Are you not seeing that? Or are you referring to elsewhere within the interface?

    Kindly,
    Hannah

    Support,

    My question is regarding the pre-built “Page Builder Layouts”, specifically “SNIP: Client Carousel”. I have tried editing the CSS and can not figure out how to change the color of the navigation dots, a.k.a. SLICK DOTS. (See photo, editing this did nothing.)

    How do I change the color of the dots? What custom CSS code is needed?

    Thank you,
