In reply to: Kadence blocks post grid option not working
November 16, 2022 at 7:59 pm #281136Hi there,
You mentioned that you have Kadence Blocks plugin installed on your WordPress website. The free version of the Kadence Blocks plugin comes with the Posts block. However, you also mentioned that you are trying to add a Post Grid on your Homepage. Are you referring to the Post Grid/Carousel block? This a Kadence Blocks Pro feature.
Here’s a screen recording showing the 2 blocks, Posts block and the Post Grid/Carousel block: https://share.getcloudapp.com/5zu2ZlbX
Can you describe further what is happening when you are trying to add the post grid? How you are adding the block and what is not working. If possible, can you send us some screenshots, screen recordings and additional description that may help us replicate or see this issue?
Best regards,

Hi,
There’s a built-in option from the page editor. Here’s how, please watch: https://share.getcloudapp.com/QwujvBKJ
As you can see, you can disable header and footer from the “Page Settings“.
Hope this answers your question.
Should you need further assistance, please let us know, and we’re always here to help!
In forum: Kadence ThemeHey, how to remove header and footer on selected one or two pages.
I want it to stay on the main page, but not to have header and footer on subpages.
There are topics on the forum and disabling the css header but I pasted the code into the additional css and theme settings and it didn’t help.
Is it possible to do it somehow through the settings? Or just css code?In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Sidebar – move sidebar from bottom to top on mobile
November 15, 2022 at 7:26 am #281111Hello,
I tried using this code as above:
@media (max-width: 1024px) {
.content-area {
display: flex;
}
.content-container {
display: flex;
flex-direction: column-reverse;
}
.primary-sidebar {
width: 100%;
}
}but it turns the text on my homepage all vertical on the tablet mode.
Please help.

Hi, Scott!
I checked your page and I saw that you’re using the Gallery block of Gutenberg. Also, I saw that you’re using the Storefront theme:
- Gutenberg Gallery block – https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuO2Pvw
- Storefront theme – https://share.getcloudapp.com/04uym2QW
I cannot see the issue as you described too, the images are showing side-by-side. I tried using a Gallery block using the Kadence Theme but they are also showing properly – https://share.getcloudapp.com/RBuBelZJ. Could you confirm you were able to resolve this already?
Let us know how we can help you further.

Hi!
Could you send us a website URL so we can check some things on your website? You can set your reply as private so only you and the support team members can see it.
Also, do you have a caching plugin or server-side cache enabled? If you have, kindly make sure that you purge/clear it. It is possible that there are some CSS or JS files that still use an older, cached version so it brings errors to your pages. Here’s our guide to clearing the cache – https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/clearing-your-website-cache/.
I hope this helps. Let us know if we can help you further with this.

Hi, @zelishmekhi!
This may have an effect but I am not sure if a positive or negative one.
If we talk broadly, Kadence is built using HTML5 markup to define sections, articles, headers, and footers which more easily allows search engines to understand your site. Also, the correct use of heading tags and preserving the heading structure is the most important part of SEO. Beyond that in certain areas (header, sidebar, footer) schema is added to again help search engines understand the content of your pages.
If you switch themes, your page contents should stay. So if your page contents are SEO-optimized, I think there shouldn’t be a negative impact on SEO. Also, the SEO plugin(Rank Math) could also help you should there be some things to improve on in terms of SEO.
What I could recommend is trying out the switch first in a development website rather than applying it right away to your actual, live one.
I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeHi Arek,
It seems you’re referring to adding a script on a certain page (both sub or parent pages) is this correct? If so, you can add script in header section when you go to the Kadence Blocks Controls from the Page editor > Page Script, then click the Custom CSS and JS button. Here’s the screen recording, please watch: https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuO2rlz
Hope this answers your question.

Hi,
Apologies for the delayed response.
It seems you’re referring to the Blocks settings, is this correct? If so, I tried to recreate the issue on my test environment, but I wasn’t able to. Here, please watch: https://share.getcloudapp.com/BluRXjpD
To better assist you, can you please send the URL of the site/page that you’re working on and the section/block where you’re having issues with? You can send the URL privately by enabling the “Set as private reply” option before sending your reply. Thanks!

In forum: Kadence ThemeNovember 13, 2022 at 10:02 am #281066Not sure what has happened here but I upgraded Kadence to the latest version and the gallery block is no longer working correctly. The images all seem to be stacked one on top of each other rather than distributed across the page width.
I think it’s something to do with the CSS margin.
Here’s an example URL

November 11, 2022 at 12:46 am #281033Hi Sam,
It feels like building this kind of a layout only with Section-elements gives faster loading times
If you only have a few content within a Row Layout which doesn’t require too many sections or container, then Row Layout would do fine. However, if you think you need to build a section wherein you’d need to put too many containers inside another container (Row Layout inside another Row Layout), then this will have an impact with the page DOM size and will affect the loading time.
If you have a simple section, I suggest using a Row Layout block instead.
btw. Is there a general information available how many request each of Kadence Block elements creates?
This depends on what blocks and features you are using on a page. For example, if you are using a Grid type Advanced Gallery block, Kadence Blocks don’t need to use JavaScript (JS) files. However, if you choose a Slider gallery type, it will call the JS file needed for the slider.
I hope this helps and let us know if you need further assistance.
Kind regards,

November 11, 2022 at 12:12 am #281030Hi Adrian,
You can target the cart and checkout pages using the below custom CSS:
body.woocommerce-cart{ background:red !important; color: white !important; } body.woocommerce-checkout{ background:red !important; color: white !important; }Change the background and font colors to your liking. Can you share the link to your site’s cart and checkout pages and point out what are the areas you need to customize so we can help you create the CSS?
Kind regards,
ChitoIn forum: Membership ForumsNovember 10, 2022 at 10:27 am #281023I need the cart and checkout page of my site to not use the same colours as the rest of it, as the red background and white text aren’t looking great when on those pages.
I can’t see where to style this, and attempts at using custom css have only managed to target specific areas of the page. Any easy way to do this? Thanks.

Hi,
The best thing to do is to create a staging site. It’s slower but this gives you time to get comfortable leaving your current theme and learn Kadence Theme. In staging site, you can also try WordPress’s block builder (Gutenberg) and compare it to your current page builder.
Just in case you need these, here are the quick guides that you can refer to get started:
