In reply to: Woocommerce product page: paragraph spacing
Hi there!
Problem 1
I inspected the page and I saw a Paragraph block with a" "content. The text after is actually wrapped with<div></div>HTML tags. – https://share.getcloudapp.com/WnuDQEbE. This is the reason why a large space is there.Could you send us a screenshot of your product’s block editor? Otherwise, please remove the ” ” characters and use a Paragraph block to the texts so it will look like this – https://share.getcloudapp.com/8Lu1vwnk.
Problem 2
I saw that you’re using <h6> for the title. By default, our theme will not add margins around it. What I can recommend is using a Paragraph block – https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEuW7dXk.Since you’re using the block editor for product pages, you can make use of our Advanced Text(former name is “Advanced Heading“) block. This will have Spacing Settings so you can have better control over margins.
I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.

Thank you very much for your explanation.
I’m using Kadence Starter Template (Soap Shop) & Gutenberg Blocks by Kadence.
The problems for spacing happened when I edit my ‘products’ from the starter template. I did not make a custom product template.
This is my product page
https://cuejewelry.com/product/aaa-grade-dark-purple-amethyst-bracelet-men/
Problem 1)
In product short description field, the margin before & after “- Wisdom – Tranquility – Wealth – ” are not the same
I used Heading 3 for the above line and ‘paragraph’ for the text after.Problem 2)
In description at the bottom, I pressed enter after “ENERGY & HEALING POWER”. It sometimes shows no spacing after it, or sometimes shows a huge space after it.Thank you very much for your help!

November 9, 2022 at 6:20 am #280997Hi there,
You’ve mentioned heading and block. Does that mean you created a custom product template?
You can apply the same margins to the Headings and Paragraphs via Spacing Settings. That said, you need to transform the blocks into Kadence Advanced Text. Here’s a screen recording: https://share.getcloudapp.com/o0uX5AOq
In “description” block, i used “shift” + “enter” to create a single paragraph spacing. But it sometimes just goes back to a double spacing even though i updated the page.
This is odd. Is this happening on the editor and front end? Are you also using the Gutenberg block editor for the product pages?
Can you share a screen recording showing how you are doing this and so we could see the issue clearly? You could also leave here the link to the page where we can see the issue.
Kind regards,
ChitoNovember 9, 2022 at 4:30 am #280995Hi, I have activated Transparent header to put the content on the top. This header has a white background with some opacity.
I have also activated the fixed header. This header must have the same background color and opacity.
The problem is that the you can see how transparent header background scrolls up when you scrolls down the page and the two backgrounds are visible at the same time.
I have added 3 screenshot with the sequence.
*Login to see linkHow should I configure it to have always the same background with some transparency and fixed?
Thank you.

In forum: Membership ForumsI have trouble getting the same paragraph spacing in the product page. I have a heading & paragraph in ‘short description”. but the spacing before & after the whole block is different. How to format the paragraph spacing?
In “description” block, i used “shift” + “enter” to create a single paragraph spacing. But it sometimes just goes back to a double spacing even though i updated the page.
Is there a way to make paragraph spacing easier? Thanks again

Hi there!
I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
I added a link to a Paragraph block on my page with the Kadence Blocks Pro activated. But the issue did not happen – https://share.getcloudapp.com/yAuQOOKO.
Does this issue happen on all pages? If it doesn’t, do these steps:
- edit the page again
- go to the Kadence Blocks Controls
- click Page Scripts
- click Custom CSS and JS and check if you have any CSS code that applies a color to links(“a” HTML tags)

Hi there!
You should be able to hide those from the Customizer. Kindly follow these steps:
- Go to Customizer > Posts/Pages > Archive Layout.
- Scroll down until you see the Post Item Layout > Post Item Elements section.
- Expand the Meta tab.
- Toggle the visibility of the dates and author.

Regards,
KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: How can we reduce sidebar height in kadence posts?
Hi there!
I’m sorry for the delayed response.
If you enable either the Left or Right Sidebar layout for posts or pages, there will be two columns: the main content and the sidebar. The Featured Image section is part of the main content and it is expected that it will not expand to full width if you have a sidebar layout enabled. This is what the thumbnail of the layout options indicates – https://share.getcloudapp.com/o0uX2nWq.
If you want to show a full-width featured image, I recommend following this setup(if you do not have the Essential Bundle):
- Do not show the featured image.
- Enabled the “Above Content” title section.
- Go to Design settings and activate the “Use Featured Image for Background?” option.
- Go back to General settings and adjust the “Container Min Height” option as necessary.
Here’s a screen recording for your reference – https://share.getcloudapp.com/eDu7qqWP.
On the other hand, if you have the Essential Bundle, that means you can use the Kadence Theme Pro and Kadence Blocks Pro addons. Then, you can refer to these links so you can create a hooked element that will show as a full-width section and will dynamically show the current post’s featured image:

KarlaIn forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: Kadence AMP – Deprecated – PHP Warning
Hi, Roger!
I’m sorry for the delayed response.
Warnings or Deprecated notices will not affect the functionality of your website, unlike the actual errors like fatal errors, syntax errors, server errors, etc. The message was shown probably because you have enabled
WP_DEBUG, which is fine in test or staging environments but not recommended for live sites. You can see this post to hide these messages from your website. On the other hand, I enabled the WP_DEBUG on my website and activated the Kadence AMP plugin. I viewed some of my pages with images to see if the same message will show. However, there was no instance of it – https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpuWgjqG.
In order for us to have more information, could you send us a screenshot or copy of your website’s server information? To get that, do the following:
- Go to Dashboard > Tools > Site Health.
- Click the Info tab.
- Expand the Server tab.
Here’s a screen recording for your reference – https://share.getcloudapp.com/12uzW2Z8. Also, could you give us an idea of which blocks or page content are shown to a specific page where this notice shows?
I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further with this.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence BlocksNovember 7, 2022 at 1:36 pm #280977Hello,
I am using reusable block to manually place ads on my website. I use reusable block, add html block and paste ad code inside. Then I go to edit page and place this reusable block on the spots on the page where I want ads to show.
The problem that I have with this setup is that these reusable blocks are loading extremely slow when I want to edit the page. When I go to page and click Edit, going into edit mode these reusable blocks are lagging the hell out of the page, and to the point where one of the pages can’t be edited anymore. It is a big page and the most visited page on the website. Now when I go to edit this page it gives me critical error.
I noticed that if I just add HTML block, it makes zero problems with lag and loading, but if I convert it to reusable block, everything falls apart.
How can I solve this situation?
In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Export CSV from Kadence Form Responses for Editors
November 7, 2022 at 9:59 am #280973Thanks Bonn, I had not considered just hiding that menu option. Thumbs Up to the Code Snippets plug-in as well. It’s the only non-Kadence plug-in that I use on every single site.
For reference, here is what I did to solve this, based on the replies above.
1. Create a code snippet to add the export capability to Editors
// Get the editor role object. $role = get_role( 'editor' ); // Add ability to Export. $role->add_cap( 'export' );2. Create a snippet to remove the Import/Export menu
function kt_remove_tools_export_menu() { if( current_user_can('editor') ) { remove_submenu_page( 'tools.php', 'export.php' ); } } add_action( 'admin_menu', 'kt_remove_tools_export_menu' ); add_action( 'current_screen', 'kt_restrict_export_admin' ); function kt_restrict_export_admin() { if ( is_admin() && current_user_can('editor') ) { $my_current_screen = get_current_screen(); if ( isset( $my_current_screen->base ) && 'export' === $my_current_screen->base ) { wp_redirect( admin_url() ); exit(); } } }With these two snippets in place, my editors can now download the CSV from Kadence Forms without having access to other export features in WordPress.
Thanks to all of you for the help with this 🙂

In forum: Membership ForumsThe format of the product page changed suddenly. It used to have a big center block to edit “short description”. It is now moved to the narrow right hand side bar which is hard to edit. Was that my problem only?
also, i can’t find anywhere to edit “additional information” for each product. It automatically put the attribute information there (for my website, it’s sizes). but there is nothing i can edit on it.
I’d appreciate if anyone can help me out.
Thanks!
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Way to change single post featured image size?
I’m looking for something similar. I manage a book club blog. Each book is a post entry. Each entry has a featured image (the book cover). I want to show the full book cover at the top of each post, but I want it to be a reasonable size, say 2500-350px wide; currently it’s gigantic – the full width of the post area. I tried a few custom CSS hacks to no avail. Similarly on the category page, I want to show small-ish thumbnails above each summary entry. Right now, the default Kadence presentation crops all the book cover images, instead of scaling them; the crop is not useful as it cuts off the image. Here are example links to illustrate the issue. Thanks for your help.

How can i fix this?
In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Export CSV from Kadence Form Responses for Editors
Hi Joseph,
Thanks for the update.
You can give “export” capabilities to Editors but hide the “Export/Import” menu, and disable the export admin page.
Try adding this code:
function kt_remove_tools_export_menu() { if( current_user_can('editor') ) { remove_submenu_page( 'tools.php', 'export.php' ); } } add_action( 'admin_menu', 'kt_remove_tools_export_menu' ); add_action( 'current_screen', 'kt_restrict_export_admin' ); function kt_restrict_export_admin() { if ( is_admin() && current_user_can('editor') ) { $my_current_screen = get_current_screen(); if ( isset( $my_current_screen->base ) && 'export' === $my_current_screen->base ) { wp_redirect( admin_url() ); exit(); } } }You can add this code using the Code Snippets plugin: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/advanced/how-to-add-a-custom-filter-or-function-with-code-snippets/
Let us know if this works for you.

BonnIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: CSS Code
Hi, Daniel!
There is a mistake in Dane’s custom CSS code. Also, since you have the post navigation, even if the box shadow is already applied, it will not be obvious because the section for the post navigation is next to the content section.
To make the box-shadow more visible, add this custom CSS code:
.entry.single-entry { box-shadow: 0 15px 15px -10px var(--global-palette1); margin-bottom: 30px; }On the other hand, you can apply and adjust the box-shadow color for all posts/pages that uses a Boxed content style. To do that, follow these:
- Go to Customizer > General > Layout.
- Scroll down until you see the “Single Post Boxed Shadow” option and adjust the color and other styles there.

Hi, Frank!
If I understand your question correctly, you want to do the following for your homepage:
- Remove the default page header or title section.
- Use the transparent header to make the content appear behind the header.
Do the following to remove the default page header(title section) and enable the transparent header for the homepage only:
- Edit your Front Page.
- Go to the Page Settings.
- Click Disable for the “Page Title” option.
- Click Enablefor the “Transparent Header” option.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Mobile
Hello, thank you for your reply, if figured out how to change the font to make things fit, however, the “Discount 1” wire frame allows for an image to be added in the second column. I suppose I probably didn’t give much detail when I added my question. Is there a way possible way to use that wire frame with the image showing along with text? I don’t think there is. I suppose I could just use elementor for my homepage instead of Kadence blocks. It seems like despite the kadence block used, anytime a block is used with image next to text , the image gets cut off on mobile. I’ve tried making some web banners in canva and still can’t get the whole image to show. I tried sizes 640×360, 800×250, 1920×1080. none will work. the only way web banners will work on mobile devices is if the image is placed directly in the center of the banner. Not sure if it’s me or if it’s the theme. Do you know of any themes that may be a little more mobile friendly?
In forum: Kadence ThemeI see/found how to set a header image for pages and posts, but for the Home Page I want something different. Normally I just use a Video Hero in the page editor and it works but not with this Theme. SO…. How do we NOT USE the default page header image ( Transparent Header Setting) and instead have our Home Page Content appear behind the Transparent Header?
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Reading time for Pages
November 2, 2022 at 7:37 am #280924Hello,
You can add the reading time on any page using the shortcode [kt_reading_time]. You can manually add it to your pages or create a Kadence Element to display for every page and design it with the shortcode.
