    Hi Ben,

    I pasted the code in, and also realized it wasn’t just the similar posts slider that was changing size to the changing vertical height of various images. It’s the Blog header gallery image carousels / sliders too!

    I’ve tried changing every setting I can think of to make the slider stay the same size (happens in my phone, but NOT my PC browser).

    So it doesn’t do it in PC browser (chrome) but it DOES do it in my android phone (also chrome browser). Please advise.

    Here’s a page it’s doing it:

    Thanks

    Now I had to disable page builder as i see that it is in conflict with Polylang and the portfolio items gave me 404. I have to find another solution for my problem. What about the column shortcode Hannah told me in a previous answer, I do not understand very well the idea?

    Hi!

    Thanks for the reply. The link to the site: http://goo.gl/SA9PqP

    On the main page, the wooxommerce product code is used just after the first info block.

    Hey,
    It’s really best if you can post a link with support requests…

    1. There isn’t really a div for this but you can use this I guess:

    .single-product .product > .row {
        background: #fff;
    }

    2. Please be specific? What kind of width are you thinking?

    You could do something like this:

    @media (min-width: 1600px) {
    .container {
        width: 1470px;
    }
    }

    3. You would need to join membership 🙂

    4. In the “related products carouse” at the end of your product page…. that isn’t any option you would get in a theme and I’m not aware of plugin that does this. You would need to override the woocommmerce related products template or just turn it off and hook in your own template through a child theme.

    This is not the kind of customization support can build for you.

    5. Do you know if the seller account adds a custom class into the body tag to make it seperate from any other logged in account?

    Hi!
    I noticed that when I use a shortcode on a page, the HTML output is not responsive. I use the shortcode
    [product_categories number=”8″ parent=”XX”]

    which generates this code (for one product category):

    <div class="tcol-md-3 tcol-sm-4 tcol-xs-4 tcol-ss-6 kad_product" style="position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 0px;">
    <div class="product-category grid_item product first">
    <a href="XXXXX"><img src="XXXXX" width="300" height="150" alt="XXXXX"> <h5>Title of category<mark class="count">(36)</mark> </h5>
    </a>
    </div>
    </div>

    On smaller screens (from 600px and lower) this generates 4 images which all stack upon each other.

    For instance, the introduction widget on the homepage, has this code, which has perfect responsive behaviour:

    <div class="tcol-lg-3 tcol-md-3 tcol-sm-6 tcol-xs-6 tcol-ss-12 home-iconmenu kad-animation homeitemcount2" data-animation="fade-in" data-delay="300" style="opacity: 1; top: 0px;"><a href="XXXXX" target="_blank" title="XXXXX" class="home-icon-item"><img src="XXXXX"> <h4>XXXXX</h4></a></div>

    Is there a way to give the product_category shortcode the same bootstrap grid definitions?

    Hey,
    In your apperance > widgets you can add a product category widget to your sidebar. Then make sure to display the sidebar on your pages.

    Also in your apperance > menus you can click “screen options” in the top right corner and enabled product categories and those can be used in a menu.

    You can change the header image per page by going into the page edit screen, and changing the settings for “Page Title and Subtitle.”

    For example, see the template for a blog page:
    http://docs.kadencethemes.com/pinnacle-premium/templates/blog-page-template/

    Each template will have the “Page Title and Subtitle” area, and that’s where you set the header image.

    Try it out on your page and let me know if it works for you!

    #107906

    How can I change the header on each page to something different? I want to be able to change it on each page.

    #107905

    Hi,

    I would like to have a menu on the left hand side of the screen that shows just shop categories, is that possible? I’d want it to appear in each page that a person clicks on.

    If not, how do I make it so that there is a dropdown menu showing only the categories in the main menu? There’s an option for products, but I don’t want that.

    Thank you

    #107902

    You can resize the header by going into Theme Options> Main Settings, and giving your logo bottom and top padding. The size of your logo also effects how tall your header is.

    I believe that in order to get your top bar to display under the slider, you’ll have to use a child theme and edit the template for your home page. If you want to learn more about child themes, take a look at this tutorial:
    https://www.kadencewp.com/child-themes/

    If a child theme is something you end up wanting to do, the theme developer will let us know what files need to be edited.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi,

    I’d like to change my homepage “Featured Products” title to something like “Featured Handmade Scarves & Shawls” instead. Any way to do this?

    Thanks in advance,

    P.

    Hi Ben, I did it and it’s better, but I’d like better blog grid. In the middle I tested [blog_grid orderby=date items=1 fullpost=false cat=business] but it does not extend on all the width, see the page.

    #107859

    After you type transparent save and reload the page. Does that then work?

    Ben

    #107823

    Hey,
    You can addd text to the kadence slider.

    You can place a logo and just hide it on the home page with css.

    .home #logo {
        display: none;
    }

    In Theme Options> Page Title, you should be able to set your site title image under Page Header Default Background.

    Try that and let me know if it works for you!
