Alright, I placed the slider into a page builder row, then went into Layout, and set it to Full Width Stretched, and now your slider is displaying full width.

I’ll get back to you on the category question in a moment.

Are you talking about the slider with the purple space background, or the one with of beach sand with the world love?

I’m using a 15 inch retina mac laptop…

After adding the code you gave me I get that we are not on the same page, the slider with the issue is under the secondary menu, not the first thing you see on the demo style 4 layout I mentioned.

I still need a response from the other post about how to accomplish this – user clicks on secondary menu link – call it women, drop down appears with the first option being women’s t-shirts that link to women’s t-shirts, then the second option is sacred geometry (which should load a page of women’s sacred geometry items). How can I do this? I thought when I checked the boxes for categories on each product edit page whatever was choose for each product would apply. So if there is a women’s t-shirt (1st category), sacred geometry (2nd category) and someone clicks on women’s then the drop down to sacred geometry, one would expect it to load a page of women’s items that fall in the sacred geometry category. Please advise.

Unfortunately I can’t figure out how to do this. I don’t have the necessary php skills to help you here. We’ll have to wait for Ben or Hannah to provide some insight into how to best go about this. Hopefully that will be sooner than later.

Thanks! I deactivated the Polylang plugin and then it seemed to resolve the issue. It’s weird, since it worked just an hour ago, but I don’t need the plugin anyhow I think.

Do you also have a solution for removing the header from homepage?

Hi Kevin,

To follow up with the other post… I have the slider in place perfectly but the image is not wide enough, yet the actually image size is more than enough, I have it set to 2000 width because when I select the max option it jumbles the text.

AND AGAIN the slider and menu and icon buttons on homepage disappeared. I don’t get it 🙁

PS. I manually changed the [span4] to [span3] on my page and saved it (which worked fine) but when viewing the page, I realized the CSS for it (.col-md-3, .span3) is set at a width of 25% so that will also need to be fixed. Thank you!

Hi Hannah –
Sorry about that. I had tried sticky mobile menus (set from the Theme Options), but changed it back when I couldn’t get it to work for me. When I enabled mobile sticky menus, all that appeared was a large white space that was sticky on every page – I couldn’t see either the menu or the logo. I believe I do have the latest version of Virtue Premium.

Is there another option settings I need to enable or set? Thanks for your help.

I just installed the Premium version and suddenly my homepage is not working at all. I still have all the settings, with slider, a page titled Home, static front page and so on.

But when I go to my website it’s only the usual layout with header, and “nothing found”.

Could you use a shortcode like this one to get them displaying 3×3 in a single page builder row?
[featured_products per_page="6" columns="3"]

Are you placing anything other than these shortcodes into your page builder rows? If the shortcode is all you’re putting there, then maybe you could just use the default visual editor to get it displaying how you want.

Sorry if I’m misunderstanding. If you could post those screenshots, that will definitely be helpful.

Hey Cara,

After these questions get answered, lets start new threads for anymore questions you have. It can get confusing when these topics keep going like this.

So for the first question, are you referring to the categories within your secondary menu? You can easily change which categories show up there by going into Appearance> Menus and deleting or adding the specific ones that you want to show there. How you organize it is totally up to you though. I wish I had more insight into optimizing it, but as it’s your store, you’ll have to think about how you want your customers to approach your products, and decide for yourself.

For the slider being displayed below the secondary menu, you’ll have to do that by adding it to your page’s content. You can use the shortcode for the slider and place it into a visual editor widget within page builder, or just through the regular visual editor in the home page edit screen.

If you want it do display directly under the secondary menu, you’ll want to be sure to put page content at the top in Theme Options> home layout, as well as the slider shortcode at the top of your page content in the home page edit screen,

Once you get the slider into page content, please start a new topic if you have anymore followup questions. It may require some CSS to get it looking the way you want, but lets start a new topic if that’s the case, just to keep things more organized.

Hi Kevin,

First of all thanks for the support. There are some themes that allow you to select if or not to use woocommerce in the installation procesess but it doesn’t matter, would be a great easy feature maybe in future.
I’m not able to manage files in child theme. I’m using a child theme just to set theme options and avoid updates overriding them.

I still have two problems with my woocommerce.

1) How can I make the “buy now” button on the checkoutpage full width or change the size?

2) Adding a product to the cart (add to cart) is very slow. When I am on this page *Login to see link and try to add a product and its very slow. The sites needs over 4 seconds to redirect to the checkout page. Than ,however, it loads the page quickly. Can I make it redirect right away (faster) and load the site content than? Any ideas why that is or how I can shorten the time? I already optimized the site speed only woocommerce is very slow overall.

Here is some CSS that should hide the header on your home page:

.home div#kad-banner-sticky-wrapper {
    display: none;
}

Let me know if that works for you!
