    Hello!

    I just upgraded to premium because I really like the theme. However 3 things I cannot solve or tweak as I had them with the free theme.

    1, the sidebar is not showing on the side of the blog post as I’ve said in the theme settings. The sidebar comes after the blog post and I just can’t find the setting. The settings I find seem ok.
    2, the secondary menu I earlier had to the top right of my logo and I cannot find the setting to get it back there
    3, when I do the blog post summary as my initial page with a featured picture, the picture is comes above the summary not to the left as it did before

    Example on how I want it to look –
    The blog I’m wanting to change –

    Thanks in advance

    I’m so sorry. I must be making a mess of this. I added that new css, which brought the prices back on the buy buttons on the grouped products page, but it also brought it back at the top of the page.

    Simple products with variations are still OK. The only one still wrong is the grouped product above. I’m trying to kill the prices at the top of the page.

    was I supposed to REPLACE some of the code you gave me already?

    Thanks for your patience.

    So far this is the css I have for the price alterations:

    /*hide price on catalog page and carosels*/
    .product_item .price {
    display: none;
    }

    /*hide price on product pages
    but this kills it completely on
    simple products with no variations*/
    .price {
        display: none;
    }

    /*brings back price on the simple product,
    but now prices on grouped product are gone*/
    .single-product .product-type-simple .price {
        display:block;
    }

    .single-product .product-type-simple .price,
    .single-product .product-type-grouped .price {
        display:block;
    }

    What do you mean by block?

    the subject as mobile are you just wanting the menu to not have certain pages on mobile? You can make a unique menu just for the mobile menu.

    Hi with the Virtue theme, can we block certain pages on the site until customer pays?

    Just a note. If you were using the “above” page layout instead of the “three rows” page layout that would make sense because the above leaves an area for the values to output.

    No that’s not…

    Ok so inside the admin of your site. You see the portfolio menu item right?
    If you hover over it you can see “all portfolio”, “add new”, “portfolio type”, and “portfolio tag”.

    Click on “portfolio type”.

    From that page create a new portfolio type.

    Once you’ve done that go to “all portfolio”. click to edit each portfolio post and make sure on teh right hand side of the page you check the little box for them to be in the portfolio type you just made.

    Once you get there let me know.

    You can’t accomplish this through the home layout manager, but you can use the home widget area or page builder.

    This tutorial will go over how to do this.

    Let me know if that works for you!

    I found the code to hide post tags. How do I hide product tags. I actually want them on my posts. I just don’t want my product pages cluttered with them.

    Hi,

    It seems there is a problem with the images on the Virtue theme to load properly. The websites work fine on other browser, but not Firefox. I even check the sites on 2 different computers using firefox and both showed the same issue. It seems when you first go to a page, like a portfolio grid or gallery, the images load on top of each other – instead of spreading out down the page. I can fix the problem by refreshing firefox, but if I click on another portfolio I get the same issue.

    It’s happening on both these websites:

    Also, 2 images are partially grey on this page:

    I’ve spent hours troubleshooting the firefox issues, clearing caches, creating a new profile, etc. It seems it just started happening within the last 2 weeks.

    I’m wondering if it’s a javascript loading issue or what?

    Thanks for the quick responses.

    We’re getting close. That did hide the prices at the top of the product page, but I just discovered that one of my products with no variations now has no price by the buy button or anywhere on the page.

    http://52.21.218.14/product/the-beatles-records-on-vee-jay-digital-ed/

    All my other products have variations, so I didn’t notice it. Any ideas how to force the price to show on the products with no variations?

    Is there a way that I can get the home page Call to Action button to be
    target="_blank"?

    Thanks.

    re hiding price: that css hid the price on the catalog page and widgets, but not at the top of the product page.

    Thanks for the reply. After I asked this question, I found the page builder to be more efficient, and will most likely be using it for the rest of the site. Thank you.

    Hey Ben –

    Is this what you meant ? Create a new portfolio page and then just paste in links to the articles?

    Has this become an RSS Feed?

    I hope so!

    Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist.
