Make sure to add a custom excerpt so that wordpress doesn’t try to pull an excerpt from the pagebuilder content.

Page builder is definitely compatible with the theme. It could be that another plugin is interfering with it. Did you try deacitvating others?

Now that I had finally narrowed down the issue, I found out from https://siteorigin.com/thread/conflict-btw-polylang-and-pagebuilder/
same issue occured between 2-6 months ago:
the solution was to uncheck in polylang settings:
Synchronization
Taxonomies
Custom fields UNCHECK this as Page Builder data is stored in a custom field.

Sticky posts
Published date
Post format
Page parent
Page template
Page order
Featured imageAlso someone remarked that not emptying trash if pages were sent there, cause issues with polylang if pages were created with the same name.
I had custom fields checked a while back and there were no issues, so one of the updates triggered the conflict but I am so relieved!
Note: Ben, somehow I saw your latest reply only just now, but you got it right!! Do you think that its safe to turn on locotranslate plugin again?

Hey,
If it has to do with widgets then it really goes back to the string translations. You’ve made sure they are all turned off correct? You’ve made sure that the pages meta data is not copied from translation to translation correct? thats done in the polylang settings.If you have a backup that is certainly an option but I suggest focusing on your polylang settings.

Hello Ben,
I wanted to mention that the issue is related to the page builder and its widgets such as SiteOrigin Editor and the Virtue image and Virtue Image Menu Item. Adding content (text or images) in html or visual on a page both french and english, DOES not have the over-writing issue! I have queried both polylang and wp but still no response. This is a serious issue, and I wonder if using a backup before all the recent updates is the best solution? Can a backup be done directly from wp admin or do I have to do it directly from the server?

recently I see a “404” on top of my page and in some areas, you can go and see it: http://www.neobici.com. This happens either logged in wordpress or not.
How to fix this? I just updated to the latest theme and all the plugins are updated.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi – for some reason my home page content has duplicated above the header and is the first thing you see when you land on the page before scrolling down to see the header and the content (where it should be). Any ideas how to fix it? Really want to avoid having to rebuild the home page again. I might also add it’s a development site but that shouldn’t have any impact on this?

I’m developing a site for a friend of mine (as part of my portfolio to help me get a graduate web developer job). Please see site here If you scroll right down to the bottom of the page and click on test you will see the embedded form into the pop up window.
I wanted to know, I want to do this for each service they provide (car servicing and car repairs) I want to have an individual form (there will be about 80 forms)
Can I set the subject line so my client knows what service the user is requiring instead of the client having to fill this in?
I also I want to add a drop down menu so they can choose what car make and model they have along with what fuel type the car is. as you can see at the moment this dosent work.
Can anyone help me with this please as I think this would really help instead of having one big “request a quote form” that I have at the moment.

The user isn’t an admin so I can’t see all your settings.. in terms of the background for the sidebar add this:
.main aside.col-lg-3.col-md-4 { background: #eee; border-left: 1px solid #444; }let me know if that’s what you want.
As for the blog page make sure you have not set a page in your settings > reading. Use the blog page template and make sure you have the page title enabled.

That was a mistake. I thought I had copied the code you gave me exactly, but somehow I added an extra “1” in front of the 0. No idea how.
I adjusted the code to exactly what you gave me above, but am still seeing the same white space on all pages that aren’t the home page. Any other ideas?

2. Perfect! Got it, thanks.One LAST question (I hope). I would like to have two columns (thru pagebuilder) in the testimonial page – one big photo and one column of text. However, the testimonial image thumbnail seems to be forcing the second column to be below the first. Is there a way to A) force all three items on one line? (testimonial thumbnail, column of text, column of text) or B) eliminate the display of the testimonial thumbnail on the full testimonial page only (maybe this is easier?).

My homepage slider is all goofy. When you get to the sight it is all to the right, but if you scroll down just a little its centered. Can I get it centered? Also, each slide has a photo attached to it in the Theme Setting> Home Slider… but they aren’t appearing? Only one is working: caseysiebels.com

1. In your theme options > portfolio options have you assigned a page as the portfolio grid page?2. There is no way to do breadcrumbs that way unless you track with cookies every user (no caching) and every page they visit.. This isn’t something I would add or support. You would need to hire developer for such a thing and it would be intense to create.

1. You’re not doing anything wrong, this was reported and there is an update coming out today which will let you choose the custom excerpt box.2. In your settings > pagebuilder make sure to enable pagebuilder for testimonial posts.
