Ben – that was it! I must have turned off that option when I first downloaded the theme, thinking I wouldn’t use it. I totally forgot about that.

A couple additional questions:
1. I want to pick which excerpt shows up on the virtue: testimonial carousel on my home page. I looked back through the forums here and see that I should be able to control that through the excerpt box at the bottom of my testimonial post page. I have filled that in with what I want, but the testimonial widget is still showing the first line of the full page testimonial with a “Read more” link. Am I doing something wrong?2. Is there any way to use page builder for the testimonial post? I don’t see an option to do that. I would prefer to use 2 columns per testimonial on the full page displaying all testimonials – one for text and one for pictures. Is this possible?

On a portfolio item page (here for example : *Login to see link the breadcrumbs display the homepage (‘Accueil’) and the portfolio type (‘Restauration de Monuments Historiques’), but not the parent page (‘Nos réalisations’). So I would like to display the parent page and not the portfolio type.
My objective : ‘Accueil / Nos réalisations / L’Unité d’Habitation de Le Corbusier à Briey’ (and not like now ‘Accueil / Restauration de Monuments Historiques / L’Unité d’Habitation de Le Corbusier à Briey’)By the way, I use the portolio widget on the homepage, and if the visitor come to a portfolio item page on the home, I would like to display this breadcrumbs : ‘Accueil / L’Unité d’Habitation de Le Corbusier à Briey’ (and not such as now ‘Accueil / Restauration de Monuments Historiques / L’Unité d’Habitation de Le Corbusier à Briey’).

Hey Timm,
You should be able to set up a page title image from each edit page. So if you go to the backend of your blog page you should see a Page Title and Subtitle tab where you can upload an image.

I have set up a website using the Virtue Premium theme and have installed the plugin WP Customer Area. The plugin also uses Bootstrap and in the documentation states that it is known to conflict, usually, when the theme also uses Bootstrap. Jan GreenOk, so I changes the colors of the background of the theme virtue, went to save it and it muddled up the entire design of the page that I had already saved and was working just fine. I am also using Page builder. Is there a flaw or conflict in either Virtue theme, wordpress or Page builder program today? I ask as last week the page was working just fine till this morning.

i have problem at creating my website with Pinnacle Premium.
Recently i have configured a static home page and created it with page builder. On top of this page i use a Kadence Slider with a transparent menu header.
Now i want to create a blog page with a different picture on top. Is it possible to set for example a static picture on top, for example below the menu header? Currently, the page looks quite “poor” when there is just the menu on top. The blog contents should be below the header picture.I would be pleased if anyone could help me.

it’s exactly the heart of the problem: look at restoring previous versions, and you will see that the text is actually in french. But on the display it’s in english.

1. I haven’t/don’t see a line above the topbar. I assumed you were referring to the gray that showed while loading the page between header and slider. That was caused by your css.
Also it’s worth noting that your body background is gray so that is the cause for a gray that you see.2. I still see this css, it’s not coming from the theme. Can you make sure you didn’t add this in another place?:

Hey so you need to delete these in your string translations:
widget body – black-studio-tinymce-3
widget body – black-studio-tinymce-2
you don’t want polylang string translate trying to translates those separate from how normal page translation works.
If that doesn’t help then you would need to talk with polylang. It’s possible an update from them is causing widgets to transfer to each translation when they should be.

Just to confirm, updating the french page with new info. automatically changed the info on the english page
ok, I think that I figured out what you meant: the following widgets are in the strings translation list:
widget body – black-studio-tinymce-3
widget body – black-studio-tinymce-2
footer_text
logo_below_text and a few more standard ones from virtue_premium (like blog_title) or wp and that’s it.

Sorry but need to clarify then, what should I be looking for in the strings that could be causing this? Note: I tried to restore previous revision to get french back but now the english page has images with french descriptions and french page links.
I am continuing to finish translating the french page in the meantime…I was stalling before worried that all my work would get lost…

That is not from the home page ^ That is showing you that it’s translating and it shouldn’t remove that string translation so you don’t have this issue.

I am not sure if I am understanding you correctly but the string translations seem to only cover elements in the home pages (only 33 of them). They don’t relate to the pages with the issue. Many are quite repetitive:
