I found a solution, I’m sharing here for others just in case there are other people like me.

In the Starter Theme Page where you choose a theme, you first have to select a different value in the dropdown TOP RIGHT, from BLOCK EDITOR switch to ELEMENTOR, then switch back to BLOCK EDITOR.

After this, the message is no longer there and you can go forward with the installation.

I think this is a KADENCE BUG since you have to switch to a different “block”, not sure, since I’m new to building WP websites.

I’m encountering an issue with the following URL: https://www.tugmimarlik.com/media-category/banyo/. The page appears in Google search results, but when I try to visit it, I receive the following error message:

“Oops! That page can’t be found.
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?”

Additionally, when I try to access the media categories through WordPress and click on “view,” I encounter the same error. There are 21 images in this category, but none of them are visible on the page.

I would like to resolve the following issues:

Make sure the images in this category are displayed correctly.
Fix the issue of the page showing up in Google search while it is not accessible.
Change the URL to use the Turkish language for the /media-category/ part (e.g., /medya-kategori/).

I’m trying to get the two buttons(adv) on the right column of the page (labeled “donate now” and “share”) to have the full width of the column. I set button width to “full” for both buttons, but the width is no different than the “auto” setting.

Any advice on how to fix this?

The instructions above are incorrect. The Search Results page is an archive page and this will show the posts in a grid layout if you’re using the Kadence Theme.

Thanks for the update!

I’ve reviewed your website, and it looks like there are two possible sources of the white space:

• Boxed Content Style: You’re using the “Boxed” content style, which adds padding around the content area, a white background, and a box shadow. You can switch to the “Unboxed” style by going to Customizer > Posts/Pages Layout > Content Style. Here’s a screencast showing how to do this: https://share.zight.com/jku0gv4r
• Padding Issue: It looks like there’s 999px of padding added to the first column, which is causing the extra space. You can remove this padding by editing the page, selecting the column, and removing it from the Advanced tab.

Hello,
I am using Kadence Galleries, and I would like to make two modifications related to the page URL and translate them into Turkish.

I want to change the word “gallery” in the URL website.com/GALLERY to Turkish (so it is displayed in Turkish). and /gallery-album
When pagination is applied and the URL becomes /page/2/, I want the word “page” to be displayed in Turkish.
I would like to translate the word “ALL” in the category filter to Turkish.

Additionally, when I directly visit a gallery page at website.com/gallery/galleryname, is there a way to add text below the gallery onpage? Currently, in the settings you provide, there is no option to add text. I’m referring to adding a heading with an H1 tag. I know I can do this by linking the gallery using a shortcode like “[kadence_gallery id=”5759″]”, but I noticed that the gallery loading time becomes quite long when I do this on other pages.

Furthermore, I have another issue. When I use the shortcode [kadence_gallery id=”5759″] on any page and there are 4 pages of images with pagination enabled, the images don’t maintain their order; instead, they shuffle each time. Every time the page is refreshed, the images are shuffled again, and the order is lost. Is there any setting that can prevent this from happening?

Also, I would like to change the “Home/” part in the Kadence gallery breadcrumb section to Turkish.
To summarize my issues:

1. Change the language of Kadence Galleries URL (/gallery – /page/2/ – /gallery-album) and the “ALL” category filter.

7. When I use the search icon in the header menu, it only searches blog posts. I want it to search the entire site, including gallery pages. As it stands, it’s not very effective and seems ornamental.
8. I couldn’t find a combination where, when hovering over an image in the gallery, only the title is shown. The only combinations available show either the description or category individually, but I would prefer only the title to appear on hover. My main request is that when I set “Add Image Title to Caption” to True, I also want to prevent the text in the image caption from being added to the hover text. When I enable “Add Image Title to Caption”, it looks bold and visually appealing. I would like to keep the caption text visible without removing it from the images.

Here are some examples of the issues:

I tried to replicate your set up on my test site and the plugin does seem to work for me. I basically created a draft page and then created an Element that inserts after the second paragraph on all pages. I’ll provide a link to my screen share in a private link to follow.

Hello,

I only see a screenshot for one of the two areas you mentioned. However, I did try the second fix option that you listed: “Appearance–>Customize–>Posts/Pages Layout” and adjust the “Content Vertical Spacing”.

I changed the setting to disabled, but the extra space between the header and background image is still there.

Any other suggestions?

Hi,

I’m glad you reached out. This can be adjusted in one of two areas, both within the Customizer.

You can navigate to “Appearance–>Customize–>General–>Layout” and adjust the “Content Top and Bottom Spacing”, however this is a global setting and will affect the entire site.

If that’s not what you need, then you can navigate to “Appearance–>Customize–>Posts/Pages Layout” and adjust the “Content Vertical Spacing”.

I’ve attached screenshots showing both of these areas.

It’s worth adding, we also use Kadence elements for the site header and footer. These elements do load in even if incognito, so the issue only appears to be with page specific Elements

We have a custom child theme based on Kadence, which makes extensive use of Kadence Elements. On occasion, we need to share pages with clients for approval before publishing. We use the third-party ‘Public Post Preview’ plugin (*Login to see link to generate a link that allows a page to be previewed without logging in.

I know, of course, that you can’t offer support for third-party plugins, but my issue would appear to be with the order that Kadence loads elements on the page (I’ve tested both with my child theme and Kadence itself activated and see the same issue with both). The use of Public Post Preview seems to just expose the issue, but I hope there’s maybe a function I can apply to tweak things enough to work.

The issue is this. If I am logged into the site, the public preview link displays the page exactly as designed, but if I am logged out and use the public preview link, thr main page content displays but none of the Kadence Elements load on the page.

I assume this is somehow related to priority order of Kadence Elements but am unsure how it would be related to whether the user is logged in or not, were that the case.

Can you think of anything I can try changing to possibly get better results with this?

The error message “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response” is a common issue in WordPress, especially when saving changes in the Gutenberg editor.

Try flushing your permalinks.

– Go to Settings >> Permalinks.
– You don’t have to change anything, just click the “Save changes” button.

Hi,

As mentioned on my original post, I want to set the Alignment of the Row Layout blocks to ‘Wide’ so that the content stretches all the way to the sides of the screen, BUT only on tablet and mobile screens – with the Page Layout set to Narrow. However, that option does not exist. It affects everything (computer, tablet, mobile).
On your first video, you suggested to set Page Layout to Fullwidth, but that is not an option because it then looks bad on computer screens.
What I believe I need to change is the left/right margin of the Row Layout, but that option is “greyd out” and set to “Auto” as can be seen on screenshot I added on my second message to you.
I have described all of these in my previous messages already and also provided the related screenshots.
Regarding your last question, you will find this under Appearance > Theme files editor > theme.json file. Under “layout” you have the option “wideSize” which one can supposedly use to set this value, I believe. However, Kadence has a variable here “var(–global-calc-wide-content-width)” which apparently calculates this margin value – which I want to set manually.

When I try to edit one of my PAGES, using yoast seo, when I try to save and publish im getting error: Update failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.
This is not happening on my recipes or POSTS even tho they use yoast seo.

Here is snippet of error log:
