In reply to: There is an issue with the footer menu
February 13, 2023 at 9:07 pm #282173Hi There,
I have checked your website and able to replicate the issue.
It looks like you are using the widget to display quick links menu and collapse sub menu item option is checked. Check the screenshot for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/OAu2YPyY
You can uncheck the collapse sub menu item option if not required.
Or you can use a custom CSS to remove border from footer quick link’s widget. Here’s an example code:.footer-widget-area-inner .collapse-sub-navigation ul.menu li a { border-bottom: 0px; }I hope you will find this information useful, and should you have any further questions, do not hesitate to reach back to us.

My site’s footer menu is underlined. I found CSS codes that worked in posts with similar issues, but mine didn’t.
How can I remove the horizontal lines under each link? The website is *Login to see linkIn forum: Kadence ThemeIt’s more common now for header and footers to be fully responsive just with show/hide and order change for the same flex or grid parent, inc menues. For a gui to do it well they need fully functional grid/flex blocks or builders with full control over all css properties. Can be done in Gutenberg but the edtor never displays them perfectly as you change elements like this, so unless you really know your stuff you need to use a separate live builder to generate correct css.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Adding code to header.php
February 2, 2023 at 6:44 am #282004Hi there,
If you are using Pinnacle Premium theme, go to Theme Options > Theme Extensions and enable the “Header and Footer Script output” option. After enabling it, go to Theme Options > Header and Footer Scripts and put your code in the Header Output field. Here’s a video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/z8ulggOj
If you use only the free Pinnacle theme, you’d need to use a child theme, copy the header.php file into your child theme, and put your code there.
I hope this helps, and let us know how we can help further.
Kind regards,

January 25, 2023 at 5:16 am #281890Hello,
I have underlined the footer menu on my site. In posts with similar issues, I found CSS codes that worked, but I did not.
Could you please tell me how to remove the horizontal lines under each link? Here’s a link of website *Login to see linkIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeJanuary 24, 2023 at 10:59 pm #281885Hi Jefferson,
This is what the lead developer said about the Google Analytics Tracking ID field:
“The setup is not the same, with GA4 it’s not the same as with universal analytics which is what that setting is. I’ll make a note to update that setting title to clarify it’s for universal. if they want to use GA4 I would suggest: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/general/adding-google-analytics/”Aside from using a third-party plugin, you can utilize the Header and Footer Scripts from the Theme Options as I have mentioned earlier.
Let us know how we can help further.

ChitoIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeJanuary 24, 2023 at 5:40 am #281871Hi Jefferson,
The Google Analytics Tracking ID field in the said directory uses a different script. Screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Jruy52XO
Since you are using premium, you can utilize the Header and Footer Script.
I will inform the developer about this, so this can be added in the future updates.
Let us know how we can assist further.

January 23, 2023 at 1:15 pm #281856The following solution (the second one mentioned above) worked best for my site. Many thanks!
#containerfooter {
padding-top: 0;
}
.footercredits {
padding-top: 0;
padding-bottom: 0;
}In forum: Pinnacle ThemeJanuary 19, 2023 at 7:12 am #281815Hi Jefferson,
The code from Google is a script, so inserting it in the Pinnacle premium theme header should work.
See this post’s Step 4 and Step 5 – https://marketingwithwp.com/add-google-analytics-ga4-tracking-code/#670f8. First, copy the script that Google gave.
1. Go to Theme Options > Theme Extensions and enable the “Header and Footer Script output”. Screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/8LugYAPe
2. In Theme Options > Header and Footer Scripts, add the script from Google in the Header Output. Screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEuD42R8
3. Lastly, check if the script works.I hope this helps, and let us know if we can assist you further.

January 16, 2023 at 7:30 am #281766Hey,
There are a lot of pros when moving from GeneratePress to Kadence. Kadence is compatible with many popular WordPress plugins. The Kadence Theme has a drag-and-drop header and footer builder. We also offer Kadence Blocks. Kadence Blocks adds more blocks to the Gutenberg Editor.
The Kadence Theme and Kadence Blocks plugin are both free. You can use the links below to compare our free and premium versions.

I can not tell you if changing your theme will impact your client’s revenue, as many factors are at play. Kadence provides the tools that you need to create great-looking websites. Since Kadence operates using Gutenberg, it works with WordPress and not against it. This allows you to make a great-looking and fast-loading website without significantly changing the WordPress Core functionality.
Here is an article that compared GeneratePress to the Kadence Theme: https://megablogging.org/generatepress-vs-kadence/
I also found this article comparing the two: https://wpbloggerbasic.com/blogs/generatepress-vs-kadence/
You can consider using an SEO plugin to help you ensure that your keywords are set up correctly. SEO plugins can score your WordPress website in real-time. You can use one of these plugins to ensure your Keywords are set up and working correctly. Below I will provide some resources about SEO plugins.
WP Rocket is a great premium SEO plugin. You can learn about WP Rocket here: https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/67-what-exactly-does-wp-rocket-do
If you are looking for a free SEO plugin, you can consider reading this article: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-seo-plugins/
We offer a Feature Request system. This allows users to request features, and other users can vote on these features. We often implement popular feature requests into our theme and plugins. This means if there is something that Kadence doesn’t support, you can always request it as a Feature Request. We also have a support team to help you with any issues you might experience.
I hope this information was helpful to you. Please let me know if you have any more questions or need additional information.

In forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: discord icon missing
When working in a “social icons” widget in the header or footer editor, there is a Discord icon available. However if you’re working in the page editor and add a “social icons” block, there is not a Discort icon available. Why is that? I’d really recommend adding this soon. Discord is increasingly one of the top social forums for businesses and creators.

In forum: Ascend ThemeHi, Mimmie!
I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Please submit your premium support inquiry on this page (https://www.kadencewp.com/premium-support-tickets/) next time so it will be sent to our ticket-based system.
See this post’s Step 4 and Step 5 – https://marketingwithwp.com/add-google-analytics-ga4-tracking-code/#670f8. First, copy the script that Google gave.
Then, since you have the Ascend Premium theme, you do not need to install another plugin to insert codes inside the header and footer. Here’s what you’ll do:- Go to Theme Options > Header and Footer Scripts.
- Then, add the script from Google in the Header Output input – https://share.getcloudapp.com/8LugD9Lr
- Lastly, check if the script works.
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can assist you further.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Footer and header settings
In forum: Virtue ThemeI have no idea why it wasn’t working – maybe it was because I put the code in Custom Scripts under the header section, and then the “Right after opening body tag” section, but moving it to the Footer section made it magically work!
I also noticed I had the “widget-toggle-menu” Additional CSS class both under the main button area you put it in the video, and also in the Advanced section as well, and I removed it from the advanced section before testing to see if it worked. So it could be the double entry in Additional CSS Classes that I had which caused the issue as well
Thanks so much!

January 4, 2023 at 6:58 am #281609Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
What translation plugin are you using? It’s possible if you are using WPML plugin.
You can create conditional headers and target the translated pages. Here’s the link for the Kadence Conditional Headers: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/conditional-headers/
For the footer, you can create templates for translated pages via Kadence Hooked Element. https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/pro-addon/how-to-use-element-hooks/
Both functionalities are a premium feature from the Kadence Pro plugin: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/premium/
I hope this helps, and let us know how we can assist further.

ChitoIn forum: Kadence ThemeTopic: Footer and header settings
Hi.
I would like to ask if it is possible to set different header and footer for different subpages?
I have a website in two languages. After switching the page to the second language, the header (menu) and footer are still displayed in the first language. Can it be changed?
I use Kadence + Elementor (free)In forum: Virtue ThemeIs there a way to do this with the Toggle Widget Area, and using an Advanced Button instead of a fixed element icon in the footer?
I tried doing this with the following CSS:
Advanced Button Additional CSS Class: widget-toggle-menu
Custom Code: https://ibb.co/PzLjqg4
I found that the Button ID for the Toggle Widget Area in Inspect was called ‘widget-toggle’ and instead of ‘mobile-toggle’ as shown for the mobile menu version in the above video Chito shared, so I swapped that out, and then changed the Additional CSS Class + corresponding name in the aboce script from ‘mobile-toggle-menu’ to ‘widget-toggle-menu’, but placing the code in either the header nor the script after opening body would make it work
When clicked, the button just acts as a return-to-top-of-page type of trigger, and that is it. Any idea what I should do to make this work on any button I set with the Additional CSS Class in the content of a page, and with the Toggle Menu Widget rather than the Mobile Menu?
In forum: Membership ForumsI’m also looking for a way to make buttons trigger the Toggle Menu I set up, rather than link to another page. I figured it would have to be a custom CSS script, but I don’t see the spot to make one trigger upon click in the Advanced Button settings
I also outlined what I meant by asking how to control the line spacing/spacing between listed posts in the footer
In forum: Membership ForumsPerfect Kara – really appreciate the response over the holidays!
The one thing that wasn’t fixed was the mobile visibility issue with the Footer – I already make use of the Visibility settings on mobile for normal blocks, but the visibility setting options are absent from the Footer blocks/widgets
Is there a way to toggle visibility of footer blocks/widgets, so I can hide the less important ones to keep the length of the footer reasonable?
