In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Adding Facebook Meta Tag To Header
Hello,
Just to confirm, do you have the Virtue Premium theme? If so, kindly turn on the Header and Footer Script output option in Theme Options > Theme Extensions, save changes, and reload the page to see the settings for the scripts – https://share.getcloudapp.com/04ux9dge.
If you have the free version, you can use the Insert Headers and Footers plugin to add it.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards,

So in the footer I can add blocks now but adding buttons as an example offer no controls to customise the button? Am I missing something here.. (probably)?In forum: Kadence ThemeJuly 26, 2021 at 5:32 am #267037Hi Ben. Could you provide a bit more guidance on how to do this on a page-by-page basis?
I have Kadence Pro, and I see the Pro Add-on “Header/Footer Scripts”, and how this allows the addition of scripts in the Customizer. But I assume this applies the code to every page. To minimise the impact of this code on the speed of the website, I’d like to only run it on the relevant one or two pages.
In forum: Kadence ThemeJuly 12, 2021 at 2:43 am #266775Dear Kadence Team,
Bug since 1.0.27: On iPad/ Touch device. Desktop menu. If the primary menu item has a link and a sub menu, it no longer opens the sub menu when you tap on the primary menu item. So you cannot open the submenu on ipad. Before 1.0.27: First tap on primary menu item open sub menu, second tap should open the link.
With 1.0.27 it’s not longer possible to use the sub menu with an iPad, when the primary item has a real link. It is only working when you put # as a link. I don’t know how other tablets behave…
I want to try to bring this up again:
– Header and Footer Social Element:
Can you please integrate a switch to choose open the link in new tab or in same tab? Maybe at the element or in the Customizer Social Links. Dunno what is the easiest way for you :)! Because for example I link the Instagram icon to my instagram feed on my website instead of the instagram account.
Have a great day,

AnonymousJune 29, 2021 at 11:29 pm #266611Hi there,
Are you referring to this footer area and hide that row of footer section? https://nimb.ws/XQbxzI If you are, you could try using this CSS code.
.site-footer-row-container-inner{
display: none;
}Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us again, open a new ticket and we would be more than glad to assist you.

In forum: Kadence ThemeJune 21, 2021 at 7:38 pm #266514Hello again. I had to leave the edit screen and load again and then I saw the settings. Thanks very much, this worked well for icons in the footer.
In forum: Kadence ThemeHello Bridget,
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you!
I was able to replicate the issue of icons not showing on the Navigation menu footer item. I’ll pass this on to the development team to see what may be the issue.
On the other hand, you can also use an Icon List block and create a hooked element. Here’s a screen recording as an example of using hooked elements within your footer rows – https://share.getcloudapp.com/BluK1XxR.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Upon checking your home page, you have an Advanced Gallery block before the header and it has a -60px bottom margin. Kindly remove the bottom margin from the block settings so that the footer links will be clickable.
Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

Hi
I have strange problem. In the footer I have widget with custom HTML <a href="https://link_to _the_page/">Page</a> which is a link to the Privacy Policy page. This link dosnt work on homepage but do work on all the rest.In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Align column heights within post carousel
Hello Collin,
Thanks for reaching out!
The post grid/carousel block does not have an option to set all post items in equal heights. But yes you can try to add a custom CSS like the one I provided below through your Customizer > Additional CSS.
Here:
.kb-post-footer-bottom-align .kt-blocks-post-grid-item-inner
{
min-height: 130px;
}I hope this helps and have a nice day ahead!

In forum: Kadence ThemeJune 9, 2021 at 3:17 pm #266331Thank you for your reply, and your very detailed instructions.
I did this –
downloaded the kadence pro plugin
installed and activated it
went to the kadence dashboard
under Pro Addons, toggled on “Ultimate Menu”
entered our license key
created a nav menu “footer menu”
used a widget to insert it into a footer col
added icons and savedThe icons are not showing up 🙁

In forum: Kadence ThemeAnonymousJune 8, 2021 at 7:38 am #266293Hi Bridget,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Yes, you could add icons on the menu items on footer section. There are two ways you could go about it.
You could do so by making use of Widgets on the footer. Go to your Customizer > Footer and you can see the footer divided into three rows, similar to how the header is structured. Add a new “Widget” section on the row you wanted. Click the “gear” icon and select “Add a widget”. Look for “Text”, then add the icon image. You can now add your menu item and assign a link to it.
Here is quick screen recording for your reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/4gunm0pm
Another way to do it is by making use of “Ultimate Menu”. This is however only available if you have the Pro Addon for Kadence Theme. Create a new menu in Appearance > Menus. Add the menu items and assign the menu icon for each item. You could then add your newly created menu to the footer section. See here for reference: https://www.loom.com/share/b9e460a22de14f2aa1635a4ca1538d8b
I hope this helps and let us know how we could help you further.

Hey,
Try using this css instead:.site-footer-middle-section-4.site-footer-section.footer-section-inner-items-1 { max-width: 400px; } p.kt-adv-heading_881c00-1c.wp-block-kadence-advancedheading { background: #fff !important; } .site-footer-middle-section-4.site-footer-section.footer-section-inner-items-1 .widget-area .widget:last-child { border-bottom: 2px solid; } .kadence-form-_6349f4-39 .kb-form .kadence-blocks-form-field .kb-forms-submit { width: 100% !important; } .site-footer-middle-section-4.site-footer-section.footer-section-inner-items-1 .kt-inside-inner-col { border: 0; } input#kb_field__6349f4-39_0 { background: #fff; }Let me know how that works for you!

May 26, 2021 at 11:21 am #266107Hi Hannah,
thank you for your reply. Below is the link to the site in question. Never mind the design mess – just trying out things… As already mentioned my issue is related to the form plus heading in the footer which I would like to have right aligned within the last column of the middle footer row.

Let me know if you need more information from me.
Thank you.
