Hey,
Can you post a link? You are specifically talking about the site in landscape view on the ipad correct?
I’ll work on getting the mobile mode forced on the ipad regardless of orientation.
Ben
I’m using the premium version with woocommerce. I have some issues with selecting product variations on the iPad. Selecting product variations on Android works perfectly, its mostly OK on PC but there are some glitches.
The issue on IOS, touching a dropdown product variation selector brings up the keyboard!!!, one can still use the dropdown, but after one does the selector automatically jumps to the next selection (there are 3) and the option originally touched reverts to what it was before. Its basically unusable.
On the PC one can select with the mouse OK, but certain combinations of the 3 product variations are not available and if the user changes the input selection the options do not reset correctly For example one can select a red product with a 5mm option only, and a black product with 4,5 & 6mm options. If the red product is selected first then the 5mm option is displayed as expected. However if the user changes his mind & chooses black, then the 5mm option is displayed only, instead of the 4,5 & 6mm options. On Android this works perfectly.
Please help ! Thanks in advance
I tried to answer from my Ipad, but I cannot see the “submit” button. It is ” of the screen”
Thought, let you know
thank you..did all right away….but well….it looks like this now..:

This was also by the way how it looked on my Ipad, before adding the new codes from above ( second ones)
I have successfully centered my logo on the desktop version of my site using Main Settings –> Logo Layout –> Center. However, when I view it on an iPhone 5 and iPhone 4, the logo is left-aligned. What can I do to get my logo centered on mobile? (note that the issue is not caused by retina, since I’m having the same problem on iPhone 4.)
Initially, I was using the free version of Virtue. With the free version, when I scaled my desktop browser down to less than 768px wide, I would see the logo shift to being left-aligned. I purchased the premium version in hopes that it would fix the issue, and it did fix it on the desktop. However, I’m still having the left-aligned logo issue on mobile.
I’ve also tested it on an iPad1 and iPad2, and the logo is centered on both.
unless you click and drag the site slider on the right. I have had several friends try this for me in Explorer, chrome and Mozilla and it won’t work. As I would like to be able to use the up and down arrow keys on the keyboard or scroll button on the mouse but it won#t work.
On ipad it works fine.
Thanks for your help…very nearly finished building my site now!!
I was wondering if there is a way to resize the iframes containing videos embedded in blog posts to fit a mobile device screen better (on iPad / iPhones the videos are showing half a screen or text is running into video). Or if it may be possible to link a video for mobile that is percent based to resize to an image that will play the video at full screen size based on a $function touch event or something …Maybe a media query? *Login to see link is an example of what I mean.
Also I am trying to use a carriage return and page break (br) tag to have space between my type and videos but they seem to disappear after I save the page. Is it ok to style the padding of iframe videos inline (text editor)?

I have problem with the Thumb Slider image text on e.g. iPhones, where the text remain large instead of scale down. It works fine with IPAD´s. The link is loppefund-hos-lene.dk
I Used the suggested code from the post “Font size for smaller and mobile screens”, but with no success. Can you help.?
I have the same problem with the Thumb Slider image text on e.g. iPhones, where the text remain large instead of scale down. It works fine with IPAD´s. I Used the suggested code, but with no success.
What code should I insert in the CSS box to work iPhones.?
Which version of the chrome browser are you using? So strange that with chrome on iphone and ipads it works without issue.
You tested on style two of the demo?
Ben
Okey, thanks for that. Will look into it. Can I also ask if there is any way of having the topbar “Static” so it always shows in top when scrolling down. Would be very helpful especially for mobile and iPads. Thanks again for a great theme, and the quick response.

Hi Ben,
I currently work on the implementation of the shop. When I have added a product to the cart and view my cart the remove product button isn’t shown on mobile screens (on my iPad in portrait mode but not in landscape mode).
That’s a bad mistake, because I want to get mobile customers and in Germany you have to have the option to remove items from a shopping cart.
Hi Ben,
The footer menu is well justified to the right when I view the site on a desktop computer or full browser, but on mobile of iPad it shifts it to the left and indents it, so it seems off kilter with the copyright message and social media icons. Is there a quick fix for this?
Thanks!
My site is online: *Login to see link , but I have a little problem with the portfolio navigation.
I’m not using the standard navigation feature of the theme, because I have two portfolio pages. So my readers have to navigate back from a portfolio entry to the portfolio overview using the browsers back button. When the reader has filtered the portfolio page and is using the back button it behaves different in the browsers:
Safari on Windows (I haven’t tried on Mac), Opera and iPad is ok. The portfolio page isn’t reloaded and is displayed with the same filter.
IE (11) and Firefox are working different: They reload the portfolio page on using the back button, so the filter is reset.
Is there a chance to prevent the browsers from reloading the page, when the reader uses the back button?
I have added wooCommerce product-categories from “Products -> Categories” in my admin area however they don’t show.
How can I add product-categories on the secondary menu like in the following demo?
Shop
The Main Store Page
T-Shirts
Creative, Random, Funny
Wine
Red Fox, Yellow Box
Electronics
Apple, Ipad, Mac
Business Cards
Mockups, Simple Designs
Hi Ben,
my webpage with your fantastic theme is online but the will be some time remaining to create the shop. See http://www.pastellbilder.de/en/ for the english version.
I have one question from the feedback of my readers: I there an option to create the text for the filters within the portfolio page lee light. On the iPad most of my readers have problems to see this very light text. It’s a different on the PC.
Thanks a lot.
I reduced the size of the names for the elements in the first row and it looks “ok”. However, I notice that on my iPad, it has some sizing issues with the boxes. Not a serious concern…
How can I set a minimum height for all these boxes so they should all work?
It seems that Category Filter on Shop Page is not responsive…
I’m trying to display it on cell phone (small screen) and there is not problem on ipad for instance (larger screen).
Is it a way to display it on cell phone as drop-down list.
Thanks
