October 28, 2025 at 11:23 pm #295296Hey,
Hi suegolden2,
When we say PHP installation, we mean the PHP version that runs on your website’s server. Using an iPad Pro should not be a problem at all.
If you can, please send us a support ticket so we can take a closer look and help you out.

August 5, 2025 at 8:45 pm #294571What is a PHP installation? I’m having the same problem. I’m installing through hostinger on an IPad Pro could that be an issue? I find as a novice the answers are just as confusing as the problem. I’ve followed a you tube tutorial step by step but keep getting the error loading page at the last step. On all templates.
In forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: K Galleries reorder pictures on iPad
Unfortunately, it is my client’s iPad so I am not able to test it myself (but have seen it live just the once, and couldn’t drag and drop when I tried) … although I believe it is a fairly recent model.
I’ve been doing some reading around drag and drop issues with various plugins on iPads, so may try and set her up with a mouse instead to see if that helps.

This reply has been marked as private.June 17, 2025 at 1:12 pm #294049In forum: Membership ForumsI have been building a new website for a client and used the K Galleries plugin to provide a filterable portfolio of their work. However, they use an iPad, and when they use the Add/Edit button to go into the gallery to re-order the images it doesn’t work.
Is there an easy way of handling touch events rather than drag and drop with a mouse?
In forum: Membership ForumsTopic: Font Issues
June 2, 2025 at 9:05 pm #293911I’m hoping someone can help me. For some reason my fonts are being displayed incorrectly in places. It is happening on my iPhone and iPad but not my desktop. For example this page:
*Login to see linkThe body font is set to Lato Regular 18pt. I have also ensured all the text boxes are set to “Inherit body font”. I’m sure I am missing something really obvious. If I try and edit it, it initially displays as the correct font but then seems to go back to a times font. I seems to be an issue with the Text (ADV) as opposed to p block. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction please.

Hi Pedro,
Happy to help!
Are you referring to the Kadence Product Carousel block?
If yes, you can individually set the number of columns in the block General tab.
Here is a screencast for your reference:
https://share.zight.com/L1u25nz4You can change the number of columns for the different screen sizes. Here’s a breakdown of what devices are typically represented by those screen sizes:
1. Screen Above 1500px:
Devices: Large desktop monitors (including 4K displays), ultra-wide monitors.2. Screen 1200px – 1499px:
Devices: Standard desktop monitors, large laptops (15-inch and 17-inch screens).3. Screen 992px – 1199px:
Devices: Smaller desktop monitors, standard laptops (13-inch to 15-inch screens).4. Screen 768px – 991px:
Devices: Tablets (iPads, Android tablets) in landscape mode.5. Screen 544px – 767px:
Devices: Tablets in portrait mode.6. Screen Below 543px:
Devices: Smartphones.I hope this helps.
Cheers,

Hi, Claire!
I’m so sorry for the delay in getting back to you here. Please submit tickets to our premium support page so we can help with your concerns faster.
“The Post Grid is suddenly a “grid” layout instead of a carousel, and the grid wraps around into 3 rows which is excessive. How do I fix this?”
This seems like the slider/carousel scripts were not applied. Thus, the posts are shown in plain grid. When I view it using Browserstack in an iPad device, there are no issues – https://share.zight.com/L1u8m4AY
Does it also happen with another iPad? Probably, there are some settings on that specific browser preventing the sliders from working/initializing properly.
Please let us know if we can help you further with this.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence BlocksNovember 15, 2023 at 12:54 pm #286371Hi there,
On my home page, I have a bunch of Post Grids set to the “carousel” layout. When I click on tablet view in the editor, it looks fine. It’s still a carousel. But when I borrow my friends iPad to see if it actually looks right on a real tablet, it doesn’t. The Post Grid is suddenly a “grid” layout instead of a carousel, and the grid wraps around into 3 rows which is excessive. How do I fix this?
Page here.
Thanks,

I too have experienced a tremendous amount of problems recently… I believe it is tracked down to Kadence. Example: For logged in users, Rows show normal but for everyone else all of my single column rows won’t show content. If I make them two columns and Vertical, then Hide bottom section, they show up…. but on smaller screens like iPad and Phones it shows up fine??
Also my Woocommerce Single Product Layout looks like a narrow page without images and wonky text formatting for logged in users but normal for everyone else.
I woke up with this problem this past weekend and thought it was something I had done, but only problem is I had done nothing.
Please help if you can as I’m sure there are many who don’t even realize things are messed up.
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: How do I get the custom theme panel back to normal?
November 18, 2022 at 12:06 am #281156Hi there,
I am not able to replicate the issue you have described. The customizer panel is displaying correctly on my test website. See Video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/4gu40rBR
You are also mentioning a touch action. Are you using a tablet? I also tried using an iPad, the customizer panel is also not displaying the issue you have described. See Video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/RBuBKmG0
What version of the Kadence Theme are you using? Kindly try updating your theme and see if the fixes the issue. For other troubleshooting, please could you do the steps listed in this article https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website? This will help us rule out these usual causes of WordPress issues, so we can move on to investigating other possible causes of this issue on your website.
Please let us know how it goes, we’ll be more than happy to continue helping until you get your desired result.
Best regards,
Teejay. In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Clickable parent pages in menu
Hi there.
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you!
I assume that you’re using an iPad Pro device in a landscape position? Since the device has a large resolution, it will still show the desktop version of the header.
There is no hover/mouse hover event for these devices, only touch. This is the reason why we have a style to not recognize the touch event for the parent menu items – the sub-menu items will not be shown if the page will be redirected to the parent menu item’s link.
On the hand, if you want to make the parent menu items’ links work for touch devices such as iPads, add this to Customizer > Additional CSS:
@media (hover: none) { .wp-site-blocks .nav--toggle-sub .menu-item--has-toggle:not(.menu-item--toggled-on)>a { pointer-events: none; } }If you have any website cache, clear it after saving the custom CSS code. Let us know if it works for you.
Kind regards,

Mobile/PC are both fine – just tablet views are not displaying properly – any help is appreciated!

on the demo page for the ASCEND MAGAZINE theme, the footer looks torn when you set the view to iPad/iPad pro (see image):
It’s the same for me.
What can I do to make it look more even?Best
