In reply to: Shop page other languages
October 11, 2017 at 12:22 pm #163011Did you translate all your products?
You should set the url to have a language string.
You should contact polylang support.

In forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Shop page other languages
Hello!
Can you please help me? I cannot find what am I doing wrong!!!
Shop page is showing the products only in standard language (Dutch).
When I change to Spanish then I get no results even I have created the shop page in Spanish…
I am using Woocommerce, Polylang and Hyyan Woocommerce Polylang Integration.

Now I realised that I had to add the language as new in Loco, and start translating from the very beginning. I thought that I could sync with an existing po and mo file, but did not find out how to. So now I’m translating the texts one by one…
Or can I sync it? 🙂

You need to change your url settings.
Else you can hide the button with css:

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: All Projects Default Portfolio Page
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello
I can’t find solution to one small problem
Default Portfolio Page – Projects
So when i press link in every portfolio post i move to Project page
*Login to see link
I have 6 portfolio pages translated with Polylang (English and Russian languages)
When i move to some portfolio page and change language to russian – i can navigate between portfolio in russian (cause i made 2 categories – for russian and for english)
But when i press button between arrows on translated page i move to my english-page “Projects”, not to my russian-page “Проекты”Any ideas how to fix this?
Maybe just remove this button, but how can i do this?Regards, Dmitry
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi, I have three issues I’m still struggling with regarding my primary menu and top slider.
1. First, the spacing between the primary menu items is exactly to my liking, as is the text size. However, I would like to move the entire menu slightly left to allow the language switcher flags to display on the same line as the menu items. Please see this photo for layout:
2. In mobile view, I would like to place the language selection flags between the logo and the hamburger menu (a plugin called taptap). As shown in this image:
3. Lastly, the slides I have uploaded for use in the kadence pro slider display as I like in desktop view, but when cropped to show in mobile, I would like to show a particular part of the image rather than just cropping to center. Is it possible to select or control which part of the image is displayed or perhaps add a particular point to where the cropping is centered so I can show that particular part of the image? My explanation is perhaps a bit unclear, sorry.
Thanks for any help or advice you could offer.
In forum: Virtue ThemeHola, Ben.
I changed to 30 and it worked perfect!
I may not express myself well, or my explanation was confusing.
Change the language of the site based on the browser language of each visitor.I take advantage of the files of translation of wordpress and virtue, this way from English to Spanish with a simple code and without a plugin.
The content is products, the description is in English and has the option to translate with Google only the content “description of the product”
By means of “hreflang” tags I inform google the language and regnonalization of the url, I am using dynamic subdomains to regionalize the countries of destination.
ar.mysite.com
uk.mysite.com
mx.mysite.comWith very few kb in child theme functions.php I have everything solved without adding plugins.
Perhaps agree with Wpglobus given that after several tests, proved to be the only one that consumes few resources and does not require duplicate content.Polylang or WPML, require to create duplicate content and raise in hundreds the queries to the database. I do not like.!
Saludos.
In forum: Virtue ThemeOctober 4, 2017 at 5:59 pm #162214What language is your site in? You shouldn’t be editing the language based on the visitor. That is telling the browser what your site language is. It doesn’t make any sense at all to be telling the browser your site language is in a different language then what it truly is.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Few questions
Hello,
I am working on the following website: *Login to see link1. The homepage was built using the page builder. Is there a way I can duplicate the homepage to allow me to translate the content and make the website available in multiple languages? Or is there other option for me do it that doesn’t include to do redo the same page over and over?
2. In the part where I have the program and particularly in this page – *Login to see link – what I did was to insert an image as it is easier for me in terms of design, fonts and so on. The problem is the quality/ resolution. Is there any way I can upload eps/ai images (vector format)?
3. In the homepage I was able to hide it (by making it white) but how can I delete the title of the page (visible in the above page of the program: the #PlanBLisboa)?
Thanks,
Nuno
In forum: Virtue ThemeThis code allows me to manipulate the label
<html class="js-running" lang="es-ES" itemscope="itemscope" itemtype="*Login to see link
1) if I add it in function.php of the theme it works
2) If I add it as a plugin it does not work.
3) if I add it in function.php the child theme does not work.If I put another theme, for example Twenty Seventeen, it works in 1, 2 and 3
What does the code do, replace the label lang=”xx-XX” according to the subdomain of the visitor’s country.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Log-in to leave review? Change review text?
Hello Carl,
1. Go to WooCommerce> Settings> Products> General, and you set “Reviews can only be left by “verified owners” to be ON.
2. You would have to change the text in the WooCommerce language files by using this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/3. You could simply add that to the description of the product. That’s one way you could inform customers of your review system. You could also edit the WooCommerce email:
https://wisdmlabs.com/blog/customize-woocommerce-order-emails/4. Can you link to what you’re referring to so that I can attempt to duplicate?
Thanks,
KevinIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi,
We have two sites running pinnacle premium theme (www.satakunta2019.fi and http://www.satasote.fi)
Our subscription was ended and we paid it again.
We re-activated theme in update view with api key & email.
All updates are done.Problem is, that i can’t edit widgets, no live view editing (page shows empty) and when editing article nothing happens when i pres text view (and no live editor button)
Check screenshots: *Login to see link (using wordpress in finnish language)Any idea, if re-activating theme went wrong or where i should start looking?

So the above solves the issue of Exporting / Importing sliders individually, how about why when I export all the sliders using the export tool and then try to import them it asks me to assign authors to posts? The exported data doesn’t look like the slider information.

September 19, 2017 at 10:38 pm #160049Ok, I think we were just stuck on the language terminology.
The travel Gear page is not using tabs. That’s a filter.
You can enable that in your portfolio grid page by selecting the portfolio template and saving the page. Then you will see options to enable the filter.
