Ben, thanks a lot.
I was working with file and noticed when you were doing creation. Big thanks for the shipping form! Really big thanks!
The problem is that now the site has crazy symbols instead of Russian language. I saw that it was correct at some point of time, while you were working on. But then the symbols appeared.Will remove the unneeded plug ins.
THanks for the advise re the hosting. Will investigate how to solve that.Also,
tell me please what have you done to speed up the site? Because now it works muuuuuch faster than before.THanks

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Install QuickSSL Premium True Site Seal
November 30, 2015 at 9:48 am #68990Based on these instructions you should just add this into a text widget in your footer:

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Ben/ Hannah,
Please help, I have difficulty Install QuickSSL Premium True Site Seal and i want to place in the footer are. I cant understand the instruction below.
Below is the instruction of the geotrust – *Login to see link
To install the QuickSSL Premium True Site Seal, simply add the following lines to each web page on which you want the True Site Seal to appear:
<!– GeoTrust QuickSSL [tm] Smart Icon tag. Do not edit. –>
<script language=”javascript” type=”text/javascript” src=”//smarticon.geotrust.com/si.js”></script>
<!– end GeoTrust Smart Icon tag –>These instructions will retrieve your QuickSSL Premium registration data from the QuickSSL Premium registry server and cause the QuickSSL Premium Seal to be displayed on your web page. Remember, the web page on which you place this QuickSSL Premium Seal must use exactly the same domain that is in your QuickSSL Premium enrollment application. For instance, if the enrollment is for http://www.example.com, then the QuickSSL Premium registration is for that site, and does not include other fully qualified domains like www2.example.com.
Important note: Use of the QuickSSL Premium service is subject to the terms and conditions of the QuickSSL Premium Subscriber Agreement. You must agree to those terms and conditions if you use the QuickSSL Premium service. You are indicating your acceptance of that agreement by installing the QuickSSL Premium smart icon on your web site.
GeoTrust Site SealTo the left is a snapshot of the QuickSSL Premium True Site Seal. The actual site will disable right click and save features and will display a live date/time stamp.
FrontPage installation: In order to properly install your QuickSSL True Site Seal on your web site using FrontPage you will need to follow one of the two procedures below. Otherwise FrontPage will change the HTML code for the seal, causing the icon to function improperly.
Method 1One way to add the Tag with Frontpage 2000 is as follows:
Open the html page (*.htm, *.html, *.asp, or whatever) and put the cursor where you want the icon to appear
In the main menu, choose Insert -> Web Component -> Advanced Controls -> HTML to open up the HTML Markup dialog
Paste the second line (the non-comment line) of the Tag into the dialog as shown below in Figure 1 and click OK.
Save the file (in the menu File->Save, or press CTRL-S)<!– webbot bot=”HTMLMarkup” startspan –>
<!– GeoTrust QuickSSL [tm] Smart Icon tag. Do not edit. –>
<script language=”javascript” type=”text/javascript” src=”//smarticon.geotrust.com/si.js”></script>
<!– end GeoTrust Smart Icon tag –>
<!– webbot bot=”HTMLMarkup” endspan –>The opening and closing webbot comments seem to prevent “file:” from being added when the page is opened and then saved in Frontpage.
Method 2The other way to essentially accomplish the same thing is to open the HTML source file in a text editor such as Notepad and add the webbot comment lines manually. Before the Tag, add:
<!– webbot bot=”HTMLMarkup” startspan –>
And after the Tag, add:
<!– webbot bot=”HTMLMarkup” endspan –>
So that your HTML source looks like:
<!– webbot bot=”HTMLMarkup” startspan –>
<!– GeoTrust QuickSSL [tm] Smart Icon tag. Do not edit. –>
<script language=”javascript” type=”text/javascript” src=”//smarticon.geotrust.com/si.js”></script>
<!– end GeoTrust Smart Icon tag –><!– webbot bot=”HTMLMarkup” endspan –>
Thank you!

November 28, 2015 at 11:05 am #68795Accueil in your topbar is part of your menu. You just need to remove it from the topbar menu in your appearance > menus page.
For menus
“In Appearance->menus, you have to create one menu per language. Let’s say ‘menu_en’ and ‘menu_fr’, if you have a site in English and French.
In ‘menu_en’, you add English pages other menu items. In ‘menu_fr’, you add French pages and other menu items.
Then, once menus are both saved, you click on ‘manage locations’ tab and you assign ‘menu_en’ to ‘Primary menu English’ and ‘menu_ru’ to ‘Primary menu Français’.”Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeNovember 28, 2015 at 2:41 am #68755Hello!
I have installed polylang and followed installation instructions.
Default language is set as english. The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks.
I checked : Hide URL language information for default language. I chose to Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks and have other settings checkmarked including most Synchronization options.I created a home page in french (Accueil) and this link was created: *Login to see link
Now (Accueil) link appears in the topbar widget and I don’t have or want any home widget in the topbar. Both english and french menu items are showing up in the secondary menu -for both english or french versions of the site. The search widget and a visual editor widget from page builder both don’t show up on the french home page.
I stopped creating more top level pages that open up from the secondary menu until I know what I am doing wrong…

November 28, 2015 at 1:24 am #68752Hi!
ok I decided to use the search widget via pagebuilder which I entered in the topbar widget. I have all topbar settings switched to on (including left icons go the right and right to the left).
I am still having an issue now with the search widget’s position in the topbar (and text and phone number that I added via Visual editor). These 2 items are situated at slightly different hights from the top. They should be at the same padding from the top as the icons*. Also they are both pushed too far to the left. Actually the text should be positioned approximately where the search widget starts and the search widget should be around 30px to the right from the text and phone number.
*Note: I kept the icon menu but now with only 3 icons (on the right side of the topbar) and one of them is the language switcher widget: I am satisfied with how those items are are situated.
Here is the css code I am using:
.headerclass {
padding: 25px;
}.topbarmenu ul li a {
padding: 10px 30px;
font-size: 14px;
}.topbarmenu ul li a {
color: yellow;
}#topbar ul.sf-menu > li > a:hover {
color: white;
}For the topbar widget- in page builder I created 1 row with 2 columns set equally at 50% and visual editor and search widgets are inserted in each “block”.
here is link to the website: http://new.alarch-skylights.com/
I hope that the link will make things clear.Thanks again for your help.
