In reply to: How Do I Make Desktop View and Mobile View the Same
Thank you Eze for the detailed response and very informative video 🙏🏼
I’ve done all you’ve suggested,
And even though the Page layout is NORMAL.
The Headers are customized the same.
And the Row display is set to be Horizontal both for Desktop and Mobile. As you can see in the photos attached,
In mobile mode\view,
It still collapses the Rows into Vertical view 🙁Am I missing something?
(If not, Is there anything else you can think of?)Thanks!!

Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out.
To design your website to look the same on Desktop and Mobile views, I recommend the following:
1. Set the Page Layout to NORMAL
2. Align all block layouts the same on Desktop and Mobile views
3. Design the Headers the same way on Desktop and Mobile viewsHere is a demo screencast for your reference:
https://share.zight.com/xQuQmpE4You can modify the page elements as preferred.
I hope this helps. Please let us know how we can help further.

EzeIn forum: Kadence ThemeHi,
In the website I’m currently building,
One of the requirements is that it would look exactly the same on Desktop and Mobile.Meaning, people that watch it on thier mobile devices,
Will see the entire page like as in desktop-resolution.Even if eveything will look very tiny,
And they would need to zoom in to be able to review text, images, etc…Like this website for example:
*Login to see linkAny advice on how to confugure that while using Kadence Theme?
Thanks so much,

March 17, 2024 at 12:14 am #287869Hi Chito,
Thank you for your assistance! I followed your instructions and selected the Unboxed option in Customizer > Posts/Pages Layout > Page Layout, and it fixed the issue perfectly. The page now appears full width as intended.
I appreciate your prompt help and clear instructions. If I encounter any further issues, I’ll be sure to reach out.
In forum: Kadence BlocksMarch 16, 2024 at 11:14 pm #287868Hello, when I choose the medium font size, the font changes on the edit page, but when I update, nothing reflects on my actual page. However, when I select small or large, this is not an issue. Is there a fix for this? From the looks of it, I need the medium size for it to look right in mobile. Please help.

March 16, 2024 at 9:41 pm #287867Hi there,
Thanks for the link to your site.
I see you are using the Full Width page layout. However, the page looks like not full width because of the Boxed Content Style. This setting adds padding around the content area.
Kindly choose Unboxed in Customizer > Posts/Pages Layout > Page Layout. This will apply to all pages.
Kindly note that it can be overridden on individual pages, so make sure you select Enable or Default to inherit the global setting. See screenshot of the setting: https://share.zight.com/L1uy2Xy6
For other page layouts, you can also make the Row Layout block full width by selecting Full Width alignment. See screenshot: https://share.zight.com/P8uwKQwO
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Best,

March 16, 2024 at 9:30 am #287856Hi Karla,
is there also a possibility to set all the sidebars of existing blog posts (not pages) to hide, or do I have to deactivate in every single post (Free Theme).

March 15, 2024 at 2:37 pm #287853Is there any way to do it by adding CSS? I am hoping I can avoid recreating.
I only want a grid with the titles of each page using taxonomys. In forum: Membership ForumsMarch 15, 2024 at 1:40 pm #287851I have a post grid that links to different pages of our website. I have it looking how I want it to but I can’t seem to figure out how to make the entire grid item clickable. Only the title is clickable. I would like you to be able to click anywhere within the block and be redirected to the page.
Is there any way to do this? Thanks in advance!

March 14, 2024 at 11:35 am #287835Hi @darri,
The WordPress block editor, also known as the block editor, WordPress editor, or Gutenberg editor, is the primary editing tool for WordPress content creation. FSE, or Full-Site Editing, represents the next phase in the evolution of Gutenberg.
Full Site Editing (FSE) enables users to edit all aspects of a WordPress website utilizing Gutenberg blocks, expanding beyond traditional page or post content.
Check the article on FSE:

ArchitaIn forum: Kadence BlocksMarch 14, 2024 at 9:11 am #287829I’ve created an author archive page with a Kadence Advanced Query Loop that inherits from the template and successfully shows posts they’ve created.
I would like this loop to also display a custom post type. Is that possible through the Advanced Query Loop for those author archives?
In forum: Kadence ThemeIs there a way to add custom taxonomy terms to the items shown on the search results page?
As far as I can see, if you go to Appearance > Customize > Search Results > Search Item Layout you can choose to show Categories but no other taxonomies (not even the built in ‘tags’ taxonomy). I’m using CPT UI to manage custom taxonomies and it would be great to be able to display these for each item in the search results.
If it’s not available at the moment then is it a planned feature? Thanks!

In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Gallery Carousel on auto animates in edit mode only
March 13, 2024 at 12:29 pm #287807Hi Eze,
Thank you for your reply.
Yes you are right, I’m using the Kadence Advanced Gallery, with its Carousel option.
I followed the troubleshooting instructions you shared, but it seems like some settings for the Gallery were not correct. It was on home page from one of sample websites I imported, and was trying to modify it with own images.
I created the gallery again myself, instead of editing the imported one, and now its working perfectly.
Thanks again,
In forum: Kadence ThemeMarch 13, 2024 at 5:55 am #287802Hi there, I’m using XNX Honeywell Analytics 4 (*Login to see link with the Kadence theme and rank math. From the single article and category pages, the author URL leads to the homepage. Even though I had enabled the author url in options, clicking on an author in the sitemap takes me to the homepage. Your thoughtful reply would be much valued.
In forum: Kadence ThemeHi Chikar,
Thank you for reaching out.
The <div> you referenced is for the Kadence Page/Post Featured Image.
To troubleshoot this:
1. Navigate to the Theme Customizer > Posts/Pages Layout > Events Layout
2. Scroll down and Toggle OFF Show Featured Image? Here is a screencast of how to achieve this:

EzeIn forum: Kadence ThemeHi, I’ve tried everything–including creating hooked elements exactly as shown in Karla’s video, but my author pages are defaulting to this: https://thepayathomeparent.com/author/samantha/
They are totally unformatted and showing only the author’s latest blog post.
Please help!

I’m setting up new website, the carousel only animates when I’m in editor mode of the home page.
Can anyone point me why is it doing this?
Thanks,

March 11, 2024 at 3:04 pm #287790Hi There,
The recommended place you are referring to is available in FSE. Kadence AI isn’t FSE-specific at the time. We are working toward moving to implement FSE. However, we currently do not fully support FSE.
You can edit any Pattern from the My Patterns page.
- In the top-right corner of the editing screen, click the ellipses (three dots) icon and select the “Manage patterns” option.
- From My Patterns page, select the pattern to edit. It will reflect on all blog posts.
- Check the screen recording for reference: https://share.zight.com/wbuBDNY6/li>
Check the article: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/create-a-pattern/
I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.
